Same thing here but when I asked them to send information they knew our address.

We have an extended warranty and our car isn't even close to the being over the manufactures warranty.

Same thing here, they knew my make and model of my vehicle. Said they were from vehicle processing dept. When I told them I wasn't comfortable giving that information over the phone but if they could send me a letter they hung up.  Very strong accent, very difficult to understand them.

They just called me and didn't leave a message so I called them right back and it says the offices are currently closed when they clearly are not.  I'd like to hang all these scammers by their nuts!

Call said they were with the vehicle processing department..I asked what entity they are a department of and they kept repeating to me in broken english that they are updating info my vehicle warranty. SCAM!!

This number keeps calling and every time I answer it disconnects

Got a call couple of days ago, very strong foreign accent very difficult to understand, but knew all about my car, said I wasn't interested and ended the call before they went into any specifics.  Called again today but when I answered no response, called the number back office closed and business hours are 7 - 4, well I had called before 4 and only the recorded message.

Received a call from them at 10:51 AM EST on my cell phone.  They didn't leave a message.  I called the number back from my work phone and the voicemail message stated, "Thank you for calling.  Our office is currently closed.  Please call back Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (pause) Pacfic Time".  So they're running their "business" on west coast time and calling from a Pittsburgh area code on the east coast?  Riiiiiiight.  Plus, they don't provide a business name on the voicemail.  Can you say scamalamadingdong?  

Thanks to all of you who reported this and to iOS7, I can block this number from ever coming through to my cell again!!  :-)

They called and knew the make and model of my VW, and were talking about an advantage coverage and listed all of the major components, turbo, electric etc. that was covered, towing, rental car etc.  It also coincided with my car telling me that it needs service and the ending of my current new car coverage. The thing that got me was they insisted on it costing $4683 for 5 years/100,000 additional miles and needed a downpayment of 10% via credit card today.  They would not send me information via an email (I was walking through campus without a pen), would not let me call back, and just something seemed a bit off.  Also they threw me around from a foreign guy, to a lady who was pushing too hard, then to a "finance specialist" that would help me get a good offer and kept calling me hun.  Honestly it seemed legit enough to be a customer service problem... thus why I googled the number once I hung up, just to be sure.  Thanks previous reviewers!

I got the same message today.  The person said she needed to know the mileage on my vehicle and they knew the make, model and year I bought the car.  She insisted that I give her the mileage.  When I asked what company she was calling from she kept saying in her foreign dialect that this was the car warranty service company.  After about 1 minute on the call, I hung up.

Called asking about my vehicle and knew  make and year.  Asked about warranty, caller was less that fluent in English so I asked to be removed from calling list( I will not hold my breath about that.) and hung up.  Also call had local number but call back to it said that they were closed and it was on Pacific Time and should have been open.  In my opinion this is a SCAM.

I got the same exact call just now.  Offices are closed?  The times said in the message would mean they were open, scam all day.

same here guys. Just received a call from them. I started to ask legitimate company questions because I felt very weary about the call. The guy wasn't explaining anything, just kept repeating basic responses and then hung up. I called back the number. This is a Saturday today and the operator didn't give me any details about who I called or anything. Simply said, our offices are closed until Monday XX:XX pacific time (couldn't remember the time). This tells me that this call was from a company hired to fish data from people.

calls never leaves message. you answer and it hangs up . so much for the do not call list!

I was thinking the same thing.  And sometimes a message is left and sometimes none is left.  But they do use a LOT of different numbers!

I have to wonder if this is yet another of Central Blood Bank's numbers - they use many, and sometimes they call from private numbers.
