RECEIVED A CALL A FEW TIMES FROM A PLACE  CALLED OUTREACH ASSOC. CALLED GOT A RECORDING SAYING THEY HAD INFO FROM SEC.BLUE HEALTH INS.WANTED MY PHONE NUM.,WHY?WHEN THEY HAD CALLED ME.A SCAM OF SOME KIND I AM SURE.WILL CALL HIGHMARK TO LET THEM KNOW OF THIS

got a call from this number last night - above the number it said outreach association.  not interested in an outreach association so I did not answer, no message.

Reporting this is one thing how do we get it to stop? When i do pick up they hang up.

Have been receiving calls fro this number and other maybe just a digit difference. My husband got tired of them calling EVERY DAY, so he answered and then put me on phone. A lady said she was WETA (public television) and that because we had supported them in the past they were asking for our continued support. I told her that if they were WETZ why was Pitsburgh PA showing up on caller ID? She said they did fundraising for WETA. I told her not to call again and that I had turned the number into the No Call List. She said she'd make a note of it ... fat chance I'll bet.

Been getting multiple calls each day from 412-773-8577.  I never pick up, and today they finally left a message saying they were calling on behalf of Heifer International (a charity I have donated to before).  I am surprised they would be calling for donations, since it is tacky and annoying.

I have received calls at least daily for about 5 months.  There is no message left and when the answering machine picks up, the line drops.  The calls usually come about 6pm.

I have been getting calls on my cell phone frm this number.  i've never answered one because I dont reconginze the number. does anyone know how to stop the calls?

I've recieved several calls from these people.The caller id say's OUTREACH ASSOC.I've answered several times with no one responding on the other end,Today someone responded after I answered.The first thing he said was my name asking for me.I said who is this and then he went on with some spiel about me being a voter and then proceeded to ask me at what time of day I'll will be voting on tuesday's election,morning,afternoon,evening?.I promptly hung up on him.

My husband answered and was connected to someone calling on behalf of the Sierra Club, although the caller ID said Outreach Assoc. Yesterday I answered a call from 412-773-8575 that was also Outreach Assoc. on the caller ID, but no one was on the line during the 3 seconds I waited before hanging up. It sounds like this is a telemarketing company employed by different companies/organizations. If they work for charity organizations, I think the Do Not Call regulations don't apply to charities.

Ah, that explains it!  I've been getting at least two calls a day from these numbers, but they've never left a vm.  Just called back and left a message to remove me from their list...if that'll do anything...

i recd another call from these people, and since i am on the "Do Not Call Registy",  i call them and file a complainted.  I gave them all the numbers they use.  I have not recd a call since.

I have dealt with Oxfam for 10 yrs and have never gotten a call from them. I have donated 3 cows and 8 goats.

i have been receiving calls from this number, but they are not saying any.  when i call the number back it says it is the Donor outreach, to leave your name and number that we are calling from.  i left this message.  if you wont stop calling me, i will report them to the BBB, but they wont, so i will report them.

They call every day.  I sometimes pick up and when no response after 5 seconds- hang up

Not once have I answered. Today, 4127738577 called and I decided to answer. However, I didn't say anything. After about 10 seconds of silence, I heard a woman on the other end say, "Hello?"

"Hello?" I replied.

She then claimed she was from Oxfam (a charity I have donated to in the past) and was asking me for donations. After I told her "no thanks," three times, she still requested money, and that's when I hung up.

I don't think this is something Oxfam would do. (Maybe they would do it, but that would be really lame of them.) The thought I had when I answered was, "This person isn't from Oxfam. They are a scammer trying to collect credit card info over the phone." We'll never know, since I hung up on them before they could ask.

If they call again, I will play along AS IF I plan to give them my card info. I will string them along and see where it leads.

Receiving multiple calls from this number, usually in the early evening.

They call nearly every day. I don't answer. They don't leave a message. ID says 'Outreach'.

They call every day ... sometimes the number is one digit different from the 8577. Caller ID says Pittsburgh PA. They never leave a message so we finally answered ... it was some "group" calling on behalf of WETA asking for monetary support. I told them I had put them on the no call list and to not call back, and the woman said she'd make a note of that. Fat chance!

Called our home number around lunch on Tue. 02-01-2011.
The caller ID read "Name Unavailable."
If they're not going to make their name available, tough luck for them. I'm not picking up.

Caller ID identified as "Outreach Assoc." Heard someone on other end saying "uh-huh, uh-huh" like they were on another call. I hung up.

These people have called frequently but have left no message.  Suspect fund-raising since they often call around dinner time.
