After reading the comments above i know this is a fake Amerigroup but when they leave a voicemail they know my FULL name, which scares me. How do these scammers know who I am?!? Maybe it's easy to link a person's name with their number or idk. Does anyone get these computer generated voicemails that know your name??

This is all good to know, thank you.  I get this a few times a week now, I blocked it but they/this computer - generated call can still leave a message just like you state to call back for important information from Amerigroup Washington.  I was going to wait til I had more minutes on my cellphone again to call them back and hopefully get them to stop bothering me but now from reading this I see it's a scam.  Glad I didn't waste my precious few cellphone minutes to call back now.  And too bad I have to continue to be annoyed by them.

These people claiming to be AmeriGroup Washington, without fail, call twice a day and leave the same message (computer generated, not an actual person) each time saying that they have some "important information;" the message asked me to call them back at a suspicious number. I Google-d AmeriGroup Washington and none of their phone numbers match up with the number that called or the number they are asking me to call them back at. Furthermore, AmeriGroup does not have any connection to Pennsylvania and various other sources say that this number is a CELL PHONE under Cricket. It just doesn't make sense for AmeriGroup Washington to call from Pennsylvania. This has SCAM written all over it. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!

I got a call from 412-773-8582 and they left a message saying they're from Amerigroup. I checked the message and it said to call them back at 1-855-233-9864 about some "important information". They knew my name (first and last) so i called them back at the 1-855 number they asked me to verify my date of birth. That's when I hung up....seems too shady.

I also recieved a call from 412-773-8582. It says it is Amerigroup and to call an 800 number. I don't trust this number. Call Amerigroup directly with questions!!!

I just received a call from this number, did not answer it and a message was left. It was from my Health Insurer Amerigroup.

I have received 2 calls from 412-773-8582, automated voice saying it was Amerigroup Washington. They left an 800 # to call back. It asked for the phone number where you were left the message. SCAM. I called Amerigroup and they are NOT calling people and leaving a message. My account is fine so no reason to call me.
Do not call the number and give them any info. They are fishing for your personal information!!

Just got called by this number. Voice message left says it is Amerigroup Washington, which provides info for Medicaid and Medicare recipients. Hope this info helps someone out there recognize why they were called!

Someone calls me from this number 2 or 3 times daily.  The person does not leave a message.  It is VERY annoying.

Repeated calls day in and day out.  Never leave a message.  If it is the Sierra Club as someone else has suggested I am no longer going to donate to them

I have received over 15 calls in the past month and they never ever leave a message.  They circumvent my blocking them by using the same number, but by just changing the last two digits so that it's just slightly different.  If they are calling on behalf of some charity, those charities should really be ashamed.  Why would I donate to any organization who harasses people this way?  I told my mom to stop donating to all of her charities because of this.  It's just ridiculous....

A very nice lady from the Sierra Club called from this number.  They're just trying to invite you to join others in saving the earth for future generations--our children, granchildren and maybe our great-grandchildren if we all pitch in.

I have received numerous calls from this number.  They will not leave a message.  They called last night at 8:43.PM.
