Got a message that this guy called back.  Even spelled his name.  Called him back 15 minutes later and he claims he did not call and did not have any idea who I was.

got a call from Mike and he says he is from PFS and leaves this number. I google PFS , milwaukee and Performance Freight Services comes up.  There is also a  PFS in cottage grove that certifies wood.  I don't know what the whole using an acronym for a financial services company is all about, it seems a little bit like the Amway approach.  You don't get a call from Metlife or Prudential, or New York life where they are using an acronym for their business. The only reason to be secretive like this is that you have something to hide.  I usually approach this head on and if I had an issue with someone have some misconceptions about my business I would be up front and say this is Mike from Primerica, you may or may not know about us but hopefully you can take a few minutes to speak with me to hear about a tremendous opportunity and get the facts straightaway.  I find something like this works much better then all the smoke and mirrors.

This is basically network marketing which isn't bad because I love it, the residual income is amazing! But this company is so secretive because they want to bring people in the door, if they found out before they went in they would be turned off.

I love network marketing, but I would prefer a company like Visalus because they are completely open about what they are doing, not a company that is so secretive.

Got a phone call today from "mike".  Not interested in meeting with him after reading about the 'scam'.

I am Sorry to those people I had miss led with the information on the 20th. PFS is Primerica, they are on the BBB and "HIGHLY RANKED". I found out that they don't advertise, simply because they don't have to, there products and services speak for themselfs. They are the Largest company doing what they do, which is "MAKE AND SAVE PEOPLE MONEY". Once again I am sorry for the info I had posted before, and also to Mike for not fully understanding what he had told me!

Hello, I received call and left him a message back.  I too tried to look up the company PSS and found a job posting and it looked like pharma sales (Biotechnology products for a well known manufacturer).  I was interested untill I found this posting.  I make my own decisions but am now no longer interested in this position.  I am a professional sales person used to working for major companies.  I left this post as a courtesy to other individuals.  Thank you.

I would sincerely say this, This is a Sales Position. In the beginning Mike was very secretive on the position, I had to ask him 3 times of what type of business he is.
Hers the Breakdown.
1. 29 years in business ---> Why not report to BBB or Why not Listed there?
2. Strictly Sales (I'm not against this but...) Mikes turnover rate is 0 to 1 like he said.
3. What does he sell?...He didn't say??? Why
4. if he offers products to his Customers ...Then what is it?
5. Thismust be a cell phone or a landline----> Verizon Carrier
6. No phone screen or phone pre-interview?---> Why?---Mike says he's a straight shooter and does things and speaks in person.....Why?
7. Why the rush on the interview....Doesn't want to listen nor wants to answers questions..Mike just around the the answers and question.

My Fellow Job Seekers and Proffesionals ...
At the end of the day, usually employers give you facts and they will answer any question that are appropriate...Correct!

This Company doesn't advertise why?

Again, don't let me influence you, these are real facts of this so called mike with his business for 29 years...
If you are working for mike please Educate these Job Seekers and Professionals of what you do...
Very simple task..This company and party shouldn't be so secretative, they should be proud and excited to offer a position to anyone who is interested....
or maybe put in on a Job search...Ideas.....Careerbuilder, Indeed, Monster and ETC.

I interviewed there last month, not for me but seemed like a legitimate business.  Mike is a very fast talker & doesn't give you a job description, you just have to ask a LOT of questions.  Basically you are a 1099 employee, all your income comes from referrals & sales. You would have to get your securities & life license and sell 401(k) & other financial services to employers.

I got a call from him, he said he is with PFS. I looked this number on google and found these blogs. Who are you people? AKA Chris and Jeff, Did you even look up anything about Primerica. I don't know about the rest of you out there, But I have been out of work for about 8 months now and He is the First person to call me in for a interview in a while. This company is very big if you take the time to look them up.

I just got a call from him today.  When I was in college I actually interviewed with this company, and almost started working for them.  it is very similar to a mufti level marketing (pyramid scheme). I would stay away.

Hello, I also got a call from mike, I went to meet.Long story short is, They have a great company and products I will meet to find out more and how I can fit with there office. I usually never look at these blogs and now I know why, it is all OPINION and NO FACTS HERE. I went to meet with mike to find out the true FACTS for myself. I try to never assume, but sometimes even I do. So check them out for yourself, and not from what someone else thinks!

I talked with him today, and while he did not give full disclosure about what the jobt, other than financial services, he seemed pretty truthful.  Thanks for the great information here about Primerica. It entails outside sales, but when asked about taking out customers for lunch, etc, he said there will be none of that.  Something still doesnt seem right about the process, as he does seem guarded about the nature of the job process, and he wants to just get me in to an interview asap.   Not sure why he wouldnt screen the applicants prior to having them come in, especially for the nature of this job, ie credit issues/bonding for risk employees, etc.  He's called before but never left a message.. why?  I still do not have a great feeling about this, despite taking the interview.

Thanks for the heads up.  There was certainly something not right about the call.  Interviews are so hard to come by but this is one I think I will skip.  Thanks again.

I got a call form Mike with pfs and I set a time to meet. I found out this was not for me but is souned good for my wife who is more out going. She met with Mike last week and is now working full time again. She had been out of work for 8 month. Thank you Mike for contacting me so my wife could find a full time position.

I got a call from this number last week, I went to look it up like the rest of you did, to get some back around on this person and company. I went to find out for myself what this was all about, I am very happy I did. Mike and his company are on the level and are very well known in their industry. I thought I would come back to this sight, and let you all know what I found out, and to let you know that Mike is someone you might want to interview with. Got a call from that number today, said he was looking at my resume and that he was from TPS or PPS. Glad I looked up the number he provided. Sounds like the same guy.

Just got the same call - he pulls local resumes from Monster/Careerbuilder and cold calls.

I got the call from the same guy, did not leave his company name. Look his number up on google and got this site. Sure glad I knew before I traveled all the way to Milwaukee! Primamerica is a financial place- whats he gonna do give me a loan? HA HA

I just got a call for an interview today from that number. Is there something wrong with this guy or something?
