Same wording, same number.
No company name given. I'm doing some reverse-lookup work as I type this.

Got the exact same message on my machine. Legit callers leave a company name.

Hello. I have received calls from this scam several times over at least the past 5 years. The messages are always caught on my screening answering machine. The person making the call claims my name has come across his desk and that I may be a fit for his exopanding company. This strongly appears like a phone scam to attempt to trick people into listenting to a sales pitch for some low-end work scam. I did several online searches for the guys name and the phone umber given. It alsways results in this web site and a few other sights claiming the same things I am now about this phone call. Call the number and demand they remove your phone number from all their lists and from the lists and records of all associates.

Steve Beers (414-940-0701) called today and left a voice mail message to the effect that my resume came across his desk and he is interested in talking to me about joining his expanding company if I am interested in a career move.

Message said "My name is Steve Beers. The reason I am calling is because I am working on the expansion of my company and your name came across my desk" etc. etc.

A person called and left a message on my answering machine... claiming "I have your information" and looking to expand in the area. If i am in a position to consider a career move...etc... sounds like the same wording reported here. I feel this is a phone calling scam and the person on the other end is presenting a script. I had this type of call in the past years.

He claims to work for a financial services company. But he never says which. He also get pissed when you hang up on him and leave incredibly unprofessional messages when its pretty obvious you're not interested. Clearly from some barely legitimate venture.
