Got a similar call just now. But from Alex Matthews. No mention of law firm. Similar closing remarks: "If you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney either then the only thing I can wish you good-luck...."

i just received a callat my place of emplyment by some indian man whom i could barely understand. He proceeds to tell me that there is a lawsuit against  me from some company called A.C.S fastcash and demonaded that i call 949-502-0112 before 5 pm to solve this matter. number one i have never heard of this company. number two he said that my case number was the last for digits of my social which freaks me the hell out. he said that if i dont call the number above by 5 that they will call me back. I am going to have my family lawyer on standby the next time he calls and demand that they stop harassing me or else my lawyer and i will file a lawsuit against them.

Some idiot with a thick accent just called me saying he was from ACS and they were suing me for a debt from March 2008 and I am to be in court tomorrow and his name was Alex Matthews phone # 213-785-3879

Rude and gruff and mean and none of it true.  He knows my address and ss #.

OMG!  I am getting the same calls.. I get someone with the name of Marcus Brown or somthing like that.  YOu can't even understand a word they say and hte stories are all the same.  Law suit being brought against me by 5 pm today and I must appear in court on Monday,  Little does he know it's a Holiday. I have 3 counts I am being charged with.  How do these idiots get our numbers?  I never had any Fast Cash loans.  How do I make them stop ?

I got a call from a person name David Jones fron ACS saying that there is a Lawsuit against regarding fast cash and that I need to get an attorney. I spoke with numerous times during the and he hung up twice on me. After reading all these comments made me realize that this doesn't sound right. Please everyone be careful.

After i posted my comment, the @ss called me back 2 more times and left the same voice mail only now after he says his good luck crap he says "and god bless"
I have filed a police report also with the San Francisco Police dept.

WHAT LEGITIMENT LAW FIRM WOULD HAVE SOMEONE TREAT PEOPLE THIS WAY?

I spoke to a Max, claimed to be a senior attorney with ACS, who told me a company "Fast Cash" (included in my bankruptcy) was suing me. They knew that last four of my social, my address, my employer and he said he was getting my case file and then he hung up on me. This is an ID theft operation. I've filed a police report online with San Francisco. However, these people are not likely going to get caught.

Also recieved a call from this number 4 times in a row, when I called back I was told they are a company called acs and there is a lawsuit filed against me and then they hung up.

They are calling me too. 10 calls in 3 hours. "Alex Matthews" with a heavy accent. What are they trying to get from us?

oh and all the list of name of people you get on you're voicemail are all the same prick...mine was Mark Flemming.

This is not a legit company I called to have my number removed as i'm not the person they are looking for. it's some a**hole with a heavy accent who answers the phone. There is no supervisor or any type of authority figure. Instead the a**hole on the phone is some pervert from India possibly who asks woman if they want to F him. No company name or anything when called. I would suggest if the calls keep coming to go to something higher up than this blog

May 20, 2009 - He said his name is Andy Hunt, at first he said he was a Junior Attorney but didn't give me the name of his law firm when i asked. told him I would call him back to find out what this was about and didn't appreciate him calling me at my place of business (more than three times in one day even when I said I would call him back). He says there are legal charges against me and didn't tell me what for even when I asked.  He constantly called my cell phone number and left messages such as,"If you or or attorney doesn't return my call, then I wish you good-luck...." He's still blowing up my cell phone as I type this...

It's a debt collection scam.  They are located in India and they claim they will take you to court to collect a debt from a payday loan then they tell you that you can pay them over the phone and just take care of it so you don't have to go to court.  It's a scam to get money.  Tell them you have reported them to the athorities and they won't bother you again.

Got a call and that said they were an attorney  and looking for information and that they were going to file a law suit as of a cetain time.  Only gave an abreviation for a Name and gave this number .  Could not understand a work they were saying....Also said they were located in Florida and there is no such number in that area..  Who are these people doing this????
