They start up every few months calling daily and demanding to speak to my boss. When I (always) say he's unavailable, they say they want to leave him a voicemail.  When I tell them I'll be happy to take a message (basically refusing to put them through to his voicemail), they get angry.  It's fun!

He slipped & unblocked his #, so I googled the # & found this blog. He is at it again, using the same tactics. @Manor-House - so interested in your outcome? @sickofmarketers - thanks for the info. Maybe we should all call him & ask for him cell # like he does us?...

Joe Hale called today.  Wanted my boss' cell phone number.  No identification, no background...just insisted I give him my boss' cell number.  Very rude.  Said he was calling from Global Events.

Same guy, Joe Hale, Global Events.  Demanded CEO's cell number numerous times.  Wouldn't leave a message.  Very pushy and abusive.

Joe Hale called today for my boss.  Offered to transfer him to voicemail.  Wanted to know when he could be reached and then asked for his cell phone.  When I asked what it was regarding, his response was "he will know".

Several abusive calls today from a Jack. How do we stop this?

I am the CEO of a large company and this guy got my cell phone somehow - no idea as we have a very strict policy and adherence to our directory policy.   Anyway my post above.  If someone could post the address I will have them served w/harassment papers.    We have an emergency "record button" that the exec offices and reception all have on their phone.  If someone is abusive and or harassing you do not need dual party consent to record a conversation.   We have recorded a call and I am having our internal "security" and counsel follow up.  As I stated we will post the outcome and info. as we see fit and if we are legally able.  

The bottom line is these guys are out of line, out of control and soon... out of business.

Joe Hale is at is again- he is trying to use call blocker etc.  as he must think I will actually answer a call that is BLOCKED!  Pretty funny - these guys are real boiler room sleaze bags trying to peddle any event tickets.  Not even sure if they are legit. but based on their tactics I will never buy or take anything from these guys...even if they paid me!

I am an admin and I see the phone calls coming into my VP's office and this phone number comes up All Day Long.  We will not answer the calls now that I know it's a waste of time.  Thanks for the fed back of these nasty people!

They call for my CEO daily. Tried my desk, tried my receptionist's desk, even tried a satellite office to get through.  Told me I wasn't very helpful so I just burst out laughing at him - flustered him!  The Neverending Abyss of, "Could you hold one moment please while I locate him", is good, too!  RUDE RUDE RUDE is a mild term for these guys.  Most of the time they will block their number with "WITHHELD"  I am thinking about having our GC send them a letter asking them to stop the harrassing phone calls.  I deal with sensitive information and high level execs multiple times daily.  These fools do not fluster me - infact I really feel sorry for them if they have to resort to bullying tactics!

Shane Hayward called at least 7 or 8 times today asking for partner cell numbers. When I said I didn't have them, he said didn't "Don't you have "outlook" right in front you". I told him I was not authorized to give out cell numbers. Wouldn't leave a message, wouldn't tell me what it was about. Very rude, pushy and has become a nuisance.

What a absolute jerk!!!!!!  415-399-6807.  Insisting I give information - kept calling back.  Guess he can't get a real job!  YUCK!  What a crappy way to end my day!!!

The man did not identify himself and called back three times, asking for the President of the company by name, then asking for the CEO, then asking for the CEO's direct line.  I just told him, "No, I can only give you their voicemail."  He finally quit calling.  I send all calls like that into "Voicemail Hell."  He was very insistant and annoying.

Wow, same thing here.  Called for CEO.  Wouldn't leave a message.  Said his name was Joe Hale from Global Events.  Demanded "MOBILE NUMBER!!" a dozen times.  No matter how many times I said no.

The person that called me used the names Greg and Bill, with no company name provided.  He was asking for the cell phone number of one of our Executives.  He was very rude, abusive and demanding...he hung up when I transferred him to the Exec's Admin. How do we stop this person/company from calling? The phone company really needs to cancel his service due to harassing calls.

Another abusive call from Global Events.  The caller named him self Jack. Extremely harassing, intimidating and non-respectful.

They are still at it with the abusive calls.  But the callers are now Steve and Jack Klein.  Extremely harassing and unecessary.

The caller states his name is John Mongillo from Global Events and is very abusive and demanding and intimidating.  The caller is calling our business requesting private cell phone info for our Executives.
