I GOT THE  SAME CALL AND THEY CALLED MY JOB A WELL ALONG WITH MY FIANCE AND HER MOTHER. HE SAID IT IS VERY IMPORTANT AND I CAN BE ARRESTED AND LOSE MY SON OUR HOME AND BUSINESS. THIS IS INSAINE.

Some guy just called my work number threatening me that I would lose my job and be arrested at my workplace if I did not respond to him immediately.  He said they have my social security number and they would be coming after me.  I "googled" the number (415) 868-5792 and called back.  His answering machine said "I'm not here, I'll call you back."

Does anyone have an address?  Thanks.

Got the same type of call, stating we  had some kind of loan amount that they tried to put into an account. After three calls back and forth today, they proved their fake by being rude and hanging up on us. They both had very thick Nigerian accents. and no solid story between themselves

My fiancee and i got calls from this number from a guy named  "Mike Anderson " stating that we tried to get a loan from them, that it failed to go into an account for what ever reason and when they tried to retrieve the amount from the account, could not. There were big holes in his information, including that he could not give us an amount, an account bank name or even a date of transaction. When i called the California courts asking for information, they informed me there was no information in their system concerning myself or my fiancee on this matter with anyone at all. When i called them back a final time and asked for a conference call between the " attorney" and Mike Anderson ". They spoke with me for 1 min and when i asked which spoke to my fiancee, they said " what ever man " and hung up. They both had a big draw in their accent, like they were from outside the country. Even slipped during our calls and made a comment about " my government " Its a shame there are people out there that can try this illegal stuff and cant be caught and made examples out of with trials and jail time.

I just received a message from "Sean Johnson" who gave this as a call back number. Thick accent, mispronouncing my first name (sounded like Shelly not Kelly).  The funniest part is that he left this voicemail on my office phone - and I am an attorney (and say so in my outgoing message). I tried calling back to inform him that what he is doing is illegal but there was only a "beep" and silence.

I just received a phone call from an Indian/Asian guy, stating that he is from the Dept of JAG, which i know is an attorney for the military..stated that I put a payday loan to be repaid in three days, thinking why would i even need a loan if I must repay in three days.  This man, called out some charges, stating that it would be federal charges, I was actually polite to the man. I asked how much was the loan for, he abruptly got smart and hung up in my face!  These payday loan people should be arrested, how in the world you have someone that does not even speak English Fluently to call me at 8 in the morning, threatening that I'm going to jail! I was told that they were the Law Offices of JAG, the attorney name that I was given to speak to was Robert Coston @ext 212, yet never spoke with  a Robert Coston, instead, I spoke with a MIKE ANDERSON!

Received threatening calls that I am being sued...did not state why just said someone filed a complaint.  Also stated that I would receive calls at work next and be fired.  What the heck?  Knew right away it was a SCAM.  400 complaints when I checked on-line.  Just reporting it so these people can be stopped.  If I receive a call at work.  I may sue them...not funny at all.  I have worked at my job 11 years and do not need harrassing calls there.

Received one call yesterday and another today wanting me to call back and give my social security # or I would have legal action taken upon me. If I did not respond the full legal paperwork would be turned over to my place of work and it was time sensitive: deadline being the close of business after the second call.  I did not call back until after I received the second call to see what it was ( as I couldn't think of anyone who would want to take legal action against me) and there was no answer with an answering machine beap only on the other end. Shortly thereafter, I received a call from my employer stating that they in fact had called and told them there would be legal action taken against me .  The person used the name David Foster.

I have been called twice by these at work, some indian guy, threatening me with being sued and I need to get an attorney. Wont tell me anything but said I should call Mike Anderson and speak to him about this situtaion.

Is there any way to stop these unwanted harrassing calls??

Received a call from 415-868-5792 this morning and after ignoring the call a guy left me a voicemail stating that my ss# drivers license and name was under state investigations and if i ignored the call and didnt call back he wish me goodluck, and he suggested that i get an attorney, he say his name was Shaun Carter, but he spoke very funny as if he was just learning english... After callling the number back he repeated the last four num of my social and said that i would be arrested at my place of employment for payday loans that were never paid back....he hung up in my face and after i tried to call again... NO ANSWER & It just made a beep noise to leave a message... but he stated he was calling from from a law firm...... its very sad that your privacy is no longer your own!!!!!

The caller was very hard to understand...I saw the number on my cell phone and immediately declined the call. He left me a voice mail & told me it was an urgent matter that I needed to call him back or he was going to have me arrested at my place of employment. He said he knew my social security number and threathened to have police come to my home. I don't even know where he got my information from, he didn't say where he was calling from either. He told me I had better get a good lawyer to fight the charges that were being held against me. I haven't called the number back, but I'm a bit nervous as to how he got all of my information.

Just got woken up out my sleep an hour ago with a vm from SHAWN CARTER as he say... talking bout i was being sued for some pay day loans and that i would be getting arrested at my job today, lol i told him to wait until i return back to work on Saturday because i was off today... when he acknowleged my sense of humor he got mad and yelled to me ''YOUR BEING ARRESTED AND YOU THINK ITS FUNNY''?!!!! Then he asked if i understood english and i replied yes but unfortunately u dont speak it very well... Smh i have to worry about because i have no loans besides a student loan that im paying on... but it is kinda scary that people actually get your num and harras u like that!!!!!

I just got called and that I was going to get arrested and had federal charges against me for bank fraud. He claimed he was a restitution officer and he had an accent. They told me talk to lawyer Mike Anderson he and then I was transfered to the restitution officer.  They said I could only pay by pre paid visa or Mastercard I had 45mins to get them thier money and  a apology note.  I have a medical condition and I did not nedd this stress thank god for my husband and the computer to find out it was a scam. the number they called from 4158685782 and 4158685792

I do have a payday loan out right now...it is NOT outstanding and i get threatened?? I was told good luck and may God save me...wth? I seriously am considering bringing this to the police.....VERY hard to understand...and you could hear other people talking in the background...as though it is a telemarketer...Yeah...wrong person to mess with.

Threaten me with an arrest warrant being issued, asked for personal information became angry when questioned and hung up. Called from a different number claiming to be a different individual working for a different company.  Calls back to back and leaves threatening voice messages.

In the meantime, you are going to have to do whatever you can to protect yourself. That includes letting them know they are running a scam and are reporting them to the authorities.

My father had been getting threatning messages for a few weeks from this number.  He is elderly and became very upset.  I called the number back which was the same person who left the threatning messages, threatning to have my father arrested if he didnt call back and ended by saying God Bless.  When I called back, he was very nasty and he said if you dont have your father call me back by the end of the day I am sending the cops for him.  There has to be a way to get this person or persons reported and arresteds for threats, especially against elderly people.  My father was very worried it was making him sick.  I am extremely upset!!

I just got a call from some Indian guy as well, stating i had to call MIKE ANDERSON at the same # he was calling me from, stating that i was being sued for some reason but that i have to call this guy and have my Social number ready, I said so if this is a legal matter why not just pass him the phone? if your giving me the same number that your calling from, He got quiet and said oh but the exstention you need to ask for is 359, once he paused i said yea yea ok and hung up on him. little does he know all our calls are recorded, we also have ways of checking where the number is coming from and how many fraud calls they have made and what all complaints they have against them. first of all they should get someone that can speak English and not studder because they made that one wrong call.

these people are a fraud they called me trying to give me a loan for 150.00 and when i told the lady that i needed a refund because i figures it was a scam because she asked for 260.00 more dollars,she hung up and wouldnt pick up ever again and then a man called my job threatening me saying that i was going to jail but didnt tell me why and i didnt even get the loan ..

I have received 3 calls from an Indian guy leaving a threatening message that I need to call back. His accent was so strong I couldn't understand the messages.  I believe this is a scam.

My mom is the one receiving the phone calls with the same story as many of you have reported. I decided to call them back and once the guy answered i knew it was a scam. He did not talk in a professional manner. He asked who i was and i said, "Better yet why don't you tell me who you are!" He did not appreciate this. I heard multiple people in the background asking who is she who is she. He then mentioned that i sounded so sweet and he wanted to kiss me! I said, "Ok, well tell me where you are so we can meet up". He had the audacity to say only if you suck my d!$@!!!!!! So, if you were in question before now you KNOW this is a SCAM!!!!! They also called from a 911 number saying they were the sheriff and they needed her address. Seriously!?!? What sheriff doesn't already know???

I have been receieving many calls from this number. My husband is in the military and over seas in Korea for a year. They have called my cell and job multiple times threatening to have me and him arrested for fraud. They say they sent us a check and we spent the money without paying then back. They said we will both be fired and in jail away from our children. Me and my husband have no loans at all. He has been gone and hasnt been able to even apply for anything while he is there. We have a 1 year old and a new baby son and we dont understand why these people are attacking us. They call at all hours and I am trying to see if this is happening to any other soldiers in the military? This is crazy and stressful we have been married a year and been very good with our money and trying to manage our home and family together! How can we fix this problem? has anyone eles been able to have them quit harrasing them? Who do I need to contact?

I just received a call at my Job saying I will be getting sued and I need to call Mike Anderson ASAP omg so I googled the number and this came up.. Smh that's just messed up.. Thanks everyone who posted their situation..

I too have been harassed by a Middle Eastern man claiming to be from Anderson law office. I have told them not to call me and I have reported them the police for attempted extorsion and fraud. If they call you tell them not to call you again and then tell them you are calling the police and filing a complaint.

Some indian speaking dude called that couldn't even say my name correct. Saying i was being sued for some cash advance pay back. And he needed my lawyers info. Never had a cash advance then i talk to some  Mike Anderson from a law firm saying i would be arrested at my job. Scam

These people have a great sense of humor when you call back threatening them. I told them I was an officer in my town.  They are complete idiots calling me a black P.... son of a b...h, c..k sucking son of a b...h w***e and to go suck his c..k. Along with so much more. after I laughed his accent became so strong it was so funny I think everyone should call them back as attorney or police just to hear it. It made my day. I am not a racist person by any means all of my children are of mixed races but this guy needs to find his way back to his own country, better yet maybe hell is where he belongs.

I got a call from this number, the message was very hard to understand. I try to do a payday loan but changed my mind when I started getting a million calls. This message sounded very threatening and ended with may god save you. He said his name was Nathan Brown Ha RIGHT! They do not answer when called back I have NO outstanding loans so it is obviously a scam!!! Do not give them any information.
