This african sounding lady advised they're in the area tomorrow to perform home inspections.   The call was automated as you can clearly hear the sound of a tour boat horn (similiar to those free travel scam calls).   After a few seconds this live person answers attempting to book an appointment.

They mention doing a required home furnace inspection.   Being in the area, it's important to evaluate the efficiency of our system.

A complete an outright scam...as the above posts mentioned, the phone number is fake and so is the business name.

This number keeps calling 4162468777 to inspect my furnace. They don't stop calling even after you tell them to stop

Call Display same people called Dec.6 (says Unknown Name).  Keep filing complaints, Canadians - let's get these ba..***..ds.

Got a call from this number and a lady by the name of May said she was calling from Ontario Eco Energy.  She said that they are in the neighbourhood tomorrow and what would be a good time to come by between 10:00am-4:00pm.  I simply said I'm not interested and please put me on your Do Not Call List.  Right away I could tell it was a telemarketing call as there was no explanation about what it is they do, sell, service provided etc. simply requesting an appointment.  Sneaky.

This number calls my cell phone.  They ask for Mr and Mrs. Slesing.
They introduce themselves as working for a Gas company.
I have instructed them to take me off their calling list....they haven't done so as they keep calling.

This  number on Call Display - with a minute of dead air on my voicemail.

Nov.27/12@3:25p.m.  Display says "Unknown Name' at T: 46-246-8777.

Thanks for these postings.  I have friends at the Ontario Ministry of Energy - there is no such agency as "Ontario Quality Control".  Regulations are updated, and industry must adapt - they don't go around phoning peoples homes!  Any legit vendor would have a 'real' business phone number.  Don't trust any cold calls saying they got a notice to check your furnace.  Any legit or urgent issue would be broadcast via news media.

I wouldn't tell anyone that you are not home or will not be home!!

They call us twice at 2:03 and 2;07pm and they call us by name.They said the furnace ventilation code is changed and we are from Ontario Quality Control coming tomorrow for checking your furnace.My wife told them that we are not home then they said we can make appointment for next weekend.

I caled this number it is saying" the number you are calling is not in service anymore'

The person claims to be Eco Energy.  Wants to inspect your furnace.  They are NOT requested by Enbridge.

Three times todAy this number has called, leaves no message

I keep on getting this call as well.  It rings a couple of time then stop.  I would also like to know what business is this?

Any idea who that number befongs to? It called a few times in the past few days.
