Its telus.  They left me on hold for over 12 mins.  And they called back!  Can you believe it?  And they said sorry.  I asked "are you sure you are with telus?

It's Telus, I deal with them for work and didn't reconize the number so I didn't answer.  My rep emailed me telling me she was going to call again and this is the number that came up on my call id.

It's Telus calling. I called the number back and it's redirected to their customer support line. I've been a Telus subscriber for a year and pay my bill on time, and nothing is strange with my account having just checked online. I have no idea why they're calling.

after getting three calls in three days I finally picked it up - no answer. I have a telus cell phone, I should have an up-to-date account. Just plain weird!

And I just hate people...ive been getting the call to, and at horrible times, and ive also got bell calling my home phone and im not even with them...phone companies suck, money grubbers

THEY ALSO CALL UNDER 800-777-1888 WHEN YOU PICK THERE IS NO ANSWERS, THEY KEEP CALLING EVERY NIGHT I CAN'T GET RID OF THEM AND I AM WITH BELL MOBILITY!!!

Yeah it's probably Telus.  They call me too and then hang up.  I have an account with Telus, if this keeps up I will have to cancel it.  I cannot stand companies that harass their customers who already pay them for a service.

Hey Telus, If I want an upgrade I'll call you, and the special offers you call to offer people are never that special.  Just more costly.

TD Canada Trust harasses it's customers constantly as well.  I had to call them and adjust my "privacy settings".  I guess by default these companies set the privacy settings to "call me at dinner time, I'd love to hear about your special offers".

They have called me 3 or 4 times now and when I checked my account online it says I have a credit why are they calling me??

I've been getting the call from them for the last 2 days. And the worst part? I'm already a Telus subscriber. WTF?

I believe it is Telus, however I to get no response when I pick up the phone.  Must be an automated thing.

Wish these people would go away.  If I wanted information from them, I certainly am capable of calling on them myself.

Received a call from them at 6:15 p.m. EDT. I didn't see if they left a message or not, but I gather they did not. I have 2 accounts with Telus already...my cell and my husbands. We have a "different" home phone company (ie: not Bell, Not Rogers, etc.) They are already extemely expensive! If it wasn't for my husband being an idiot and not wanting to change his cell, I would have canelled it back in the summer!!! *And I've been with them since 1996/1997 when they were still Clearnet!!!

I got a call from this number at work. When i answered, there was nobody on the other end. I waited about 3 - 4 seconds, then hung up.

Yup, they called my landline and then my cell.  416-279-9000.

Got a call from this number, when I answered there was a long pause and then they hung up. I returned the phone call, and when I did, they told me they didn't call me.

THIS CALL IS NOT FROM TELUS. I DONT HAVE TELUS THEY CALLED MY BELL LANDLINE. THEY DIDNT TRY TO SELL ME ANYTHING THEY ARE IDENTITY THIEVES!! THIS GUY SAID HE WAS RON CONNOR FROM THE CREDIT BUREAU WANTING TO CONFIRM MY INFO?? HE HAD ALL MY CORRECT INFO BUT I CONFIRMED NOTHING HE HUNG UP THEN CALLED MY ROGERS CELL AND TRIED THE SAME THING!!!

Just got off the phone with telus AGAIN!!!!!! with regards to the phone calls from 416-279-9000. You have to call the D list number to have your number taken off THEIR list.You have to do the work yourself ( go figure) the # to call is 1-800-567-0000, push option # 1 then # 1 again. Will this work?, who knows, just about to try it, try anything to stop the on going phantum phone calls. It is a mobile thing. They want you to upgrade. As if we all don't know all that by now.We are all grown ups here, wish telus would STOP treating their customer like children.

The number to call to be taken off all marketing lists is 1-866-580-3625 we are also being bothered by 416-279-9000, waiting on a week day to phone this number and finaly get rid of these pestering phone calls.

I keep getting this number 416-279-9000 calling me it's been 2 days. Got no idea who it is.

I have gotten atleast 10 calls from the number 14162799000 in the past 2 weeks on my land line and cell.  They will call my house phone then in the matter of 10minutes they have called my cellular! This is really starting to piss me off!

I blocked its number but it keep changing the phone number.
I have had quite a few soliciting phone call and Telus is the worst one.
Do not do anything with Telus. They will steal your back tooth.
I've filed the complaint to the do not call department for no avail.
Today I find phone number for do not call department and a nice lady personally took the information and she will investigate. I hope it goes some where.

I got two calls from this number on 2/18/08. No idea who it was.

I keep getting these calls too.   I thought it was my Bank phoning to sell me something durring dinner time.
I answered once, the automated voice claimed to be telus needing to update their records.  As much as I hate Telus, I know Telus DOES NOT phone clients and ask for information to update their records.  Telus allready has all the information about you on file from when you bent over and entered into your cell contract.   It forsure is a SCAM, they may be displaying a phone number that is registered to Telus, but it is not.  Telus has much more creative (and legal) way of getting your hard earned cash.
