I got few call from this number, only silence, no msgs

The caller is from HBC. Another one of those "courtesy" calls, yet it's not important. What a waste of time!!

I got it as well, today, silence.

I got a call today on that number also..and when I dialed back it says number disconnected, then I also got an email for no specified sender..? wonder if they are connected in anyway?????

Received a call and they left a message today saying they were from a collection agency but the person they asked to call them back does not nor has not resided at my number (the name is not even close).

My family has been getting a call from this number every single day. I don't recognize it so we all ignore it. However, it's starting to get annoying because I just received a call from that number on my work phone number. I do not own a FIDO phone nor do I have an HBC card.

I am receiving Fax calls from this number. It has been going on for a week now. Very annoying.
The number shows up on my call display but when I call it back it says " The number is not in service"

Called tonight - person identified himself by name and said was calling from Federal Collections. (I told him I wasn't home.)

I recieved a call from this number - they left a message on my voicemail.  Turns out it was Fido Customer Care trying to get a hold of me.  However, if you call the number directly, it says "this number was not assigned."

This number has called me 3 times today, +46855587899, Wondering if anyone have gotten any calls from that number, They are leaving messages on my telephone, speaking some kind of language, Any help would be much appreciated.

this is the HBC Credit department calling looking for a payment.  They call 2 or 3x's a day if you don't answer.

I've been getting these calls all the time and its usually junk faxes that come.  The latest one says it's from "www.kicksmart.com" ...

To be removed from our Distribution List call 416-504-5489 or Fax  your removal request to 416-504-8262.

Whenever I see the number, I don't pick up.

Yep got a call from 1-416-306-0046 and missed the call. It went to the machine and was dead when I checked the messages. I called it back and it says the number is not in service???

I work as a psychic and have to laugh at the thought of getting calls from out of service numbers.... Am I getting calls from the spirit side of life??? Not likely just a stupid telemarketing firm with a messed up auto dialer...

got this # called tonight about HBC card issue... pretty annoying.

I've started getting calls from this number.  When I pick up, I get dial tone.  When I call back, I get a message saying number is not in service.

I doubt this is HBC, because I've never had an account with them, unless this is a telemarketing number.  Apparently, according to Bell, telemarketers will use unassigned numbers to call out.

Having said that, why would a telemarketer hang up when you pick up the call?

This is extremely frustrating as the calls I receive are daily usually between 7am-8:30am ... weekends included!

Can anyone suggest how to stop these calls??

Just got repeated calls from this number at work. It sounds like a fax machine (this is not a fax line!) and googled the number to see who the number is assigned to to tell them to stop trying to fax here. Then I found this page, and of course, calling back, I get the "number is not in use" message.

This number calls on and on forever 416.306.0046 can't call back as not
in service.  How can we stop these calls!!!!!

they called me and its music on!HBC can't call me i don't even have their card!

called my cell phone at7:09pm today. answered my phone and said hello, they hung up. it could very wel be from HBC(i havent paid my bill yet) but why hang up??
are they calling just to see if the number is still in service?? lol

They call and don't leave a message. Obvious telemarketing, perhaps from The Bay.

This is a called from HBC (Bay/Zellers), usually remind you to pay their HBC Credit Card, or ask for upgrade for your membership or service

Last night, first I got a call from an "Unavailable" number, so I ignored it. A minute later, I got a call from 416-306-0046. Thinking that it was from someone calling me urgently, I answered, but after saying "hello" a couple of times, the caller hanged up (or the call was lost). When I did a reverse phone look-up on the Web, I found that the number is a land line, provided by Bell, but it is not in service(?).

Today, I tried calling that number this morning, it rang twice, and then I got a male voice-recording saying that this number is not in service, to check the number I'm calling and to try again. I'm almost sure that this message is not from Bell because when a Bell line is not in service, it's usually a female voice recording that tells you what's wrong. I'm guessing whoever is using this number is trying to cover-up their tracks by making people think it's an out-of-service number.

Does anyone know if this is just a telemarketing call or some sort of scam? And just out of curiosity, did you get the call from your land line or cell phone?

Just had a call from 416-306-0046...... they didn't leave a message on voice mail.... When I call back voice says number not in service......this is b.s.

Just got a call from 416.306.0046 and they just hung up (7:53pm Sept 17, 2007). So annoying. I will call Bell and have them investigated and label them as "harrasment conduct".
