IS THIS THE SAME COMPANY THAT USED TO GO BY THE NAME OF SHOPCO AND THEN CHANGED THEIR NAME TO BEEFEATER A FEW YEARS AGO THAT IS RUN BY NORMAN GAAL?    IF SO, I WORKED FOR THEM A FEW YEARS AGO TOO AND WOULD BE INTERESTED IN BEING INVOLVED IN THIS.     THANKS.

You can add us to the list of people who were ripped off. Like some others on this site, we paid in full upfront to get the discount. This happened just before they closed their doors, so we received nothing from them, not a single can or piece of meat. We have filed a complaint with the Ministry of Consumer Services, but if there is action going to our MP, please contact me.

Grocery group sucks.  Why don't they open there files themselves of customer complaints. Note to self never pay for something u don't receive.  Maybe the people working for them on this site who think they are a just company.  Call me fix it 705 643 2207. I am an ex employee of Spring Valley Foods and I was of course not paid wages by this bunch of sickos. They were located in Whitby at the time and who knows where they are now. I have a labor board investigator looking into it.

I will get Frank's # to you asap...I don't know if it'll do you any good though. Ministry of Labor has been trying to reach him for months now and he doesn't pick up and does not reply to messages left.
Labor board isn't having much luck in locating them since they hightailed it from Whitby. i'll keep you posted should I hear anything and I'd appreciate it if you would do the same.

I was called by the Grocery Group and a gentleman came to my house to show me how it works. I agreed to join the Grocery Group and gave him a cheque for $100. Well, I never heard from the grocery group nor did I get any groceried or my money back!!!

I got scammed by this company too and got less then half my order delivered...and the s*** I had to go through was unbelievable for that. I paid up front....so I dont know what to do now...please help...im owed 2400 bucks from this company.

I tried to rally people together to take these clowns to court but no one had the stomach to do what was necessary to sue. Together, the cost would have been shared and a few hundred dollars each but by myself, it wasn't worth the effort.

Unless you're willing to fight back, you'll never see a dime. Don't look for help here among these folks. All they want to do is complain and bi*** and moan. They want someone to solve their problem with no effort of their own.
