Call them and frequently.  They find who they think are the right people, with reverse address look ups, and don't even know if the person listed is correct. Sue them for harrassment! Call blocking doesn't work.

These low lifes keep calling me and looking for a guy with the same last name. After trying to convince them that he wasn't here and the wouldn't give up and giving me robo calls from miser I did a few things:
Reported them to the Better Business Bureau.
Blocked any calls they made using different numbers.
Block my number when calling them.
Bought this cheap nasty lil kids mega phone and when a live person calls I use it to talk to them, drives them nuts.
After a robo call, I call the 1 800 #s and use the mega phone to talk, pay back is a bi*** but I love it.
I call from hotels, truck stops wherever I am.
I call after hours, blocking my number and leave mega phone messages.
When I answer on line surveys or fill out ballot forms I put their #.

I recieved several call from these b*****ds. It didn't stop until I threatened to report them to RCMP for harassmant.  They said my number was removed, I responded, " Why am I f****ng talking to you then since you removed my number  a week ago?"

This is how their licenses get yanked or fines are given, usually the amount they're trying to collect isn't worth the risk to them.

They have been calling my number for over a year. Extremely  rude. Do not know the person they are leaving message for. Thank you for your information. Very helpful

This was the last straw.  They contacted me like 3 times within 2 weeks. All times they advised me that I would be off the list within 48hrs.  Today, I faxed them a written statement stating I do not know the where abouts and I am not in contact with him.  Provide them with the ref #. and tell them not to contact me again. I called them within 15 mins after the fax and provide them the ref# and I stated my name as Mr. Ray ******  They check the ref# and I am no longer on the list.

The same thing happened to my husband,, they called  and  gave me a case number for him to call them,, when he gets home... he calls and they say he owes  900 too Bell Canada since 2003 and he can pay them off now for 300 dollars today. When I read the same thing happened too u i knew it was a scam of some kind.So I called them back and told them what I read on here,, they got very quite, I told them that I would be calling them all night long until they block my number,, I will show them what annoying is all about , the a***holes...

ACRM apparently trains their employees in the art of bully techniques.  The Better Business Bureau  revoked the company's accrediation in April 2012 following 36 complaints in 3 years.
BBB is still accepting complaints.

ACRM initiated contact last week claiming that I had an outstanding Bell Canada bill from 2003 (yes, nine years ago), for $1000 which could be "settled" for $500.  Given the agressive nature of the caller and being a person who never fails to pay bills, I informed the caller that "this is a scam" and ended the call.  Immediately, a voice mail was left identifying himself as ACRM employee Mr. Miser? and stating that it was "IMPERATIVE that I call him back... that this was NOT going to go away!"  The tone was loud, agressive and perceived to be threatening.  The concern is that this company has the ability to negatively affect credit rating with no just cause..  As well, someone else may have been sufficiently intimidated by their bully technique to actually go ahead a pay a bill that was not theirs at all.  My message to a supervisor to express concern over ACRM's business practice has not been returned.  I have since learned that ACRM has had  its' accreditation revoked by the Better Business Bureau in April 2012 as a result of 36 complaints in 3 years.

I have a similar complaint and feel quite frustrated by the situation. I am told during each call, after I once again tell them that I don't know the person they keep asking for, that this info will be entered into the system (twice I've been "promised" only to receive another harrassing call). My major complaint is how rude these people are. I've been cussed at, insulted, etc. Everytime I ask for the caller's name, name of the supervisor, and today the name of the company calling, I am hung up on!!!! Most exasperating to me is that if anyone searched public records it would be obvious that we have had the number for 20 years without any association with the person they try to reach!  

These people are the rudest people I've ever had contact with. Not sure if this is a BBB complaint situation or not.

I just got a call from +41 65 039 63 4 saying they were Actions Collectables and Receivables and that this was an urgent call and that I had to call them back at ????(no number left) and then the recording started over again..... it did that a couple times.... I cursed at the recording and hung up and am trying to track down this number to no avail...... get a life f*kking losers SCAMMERS suck the big one....

someone keep calling again and again ( almost every day for two months), every time I answer the phone call no body talk to me, It is just a voice machine. I call this number, a guy answer and he asked me for $35, I asked him for what reason, he said I owed TKC( not sure ) money, I asked for more details, he siad he is not willing to talk with me just for $35 dollars! And just simply hand up the phone!  and call again next day!

recieved a call thursday aug 18. they told me i owed them money for an EATONS CREDIT CARD. i never had an eaton's credit card. when i called them back and told them their phone number was flagged as a scam. " HOWARD" the collector agent told me," people have opinions that aren't postive about their company". i double checked with equifax today and verified i never had an Eaton's Credit card. they called me again today and herassed me. i told them about me contacting equifax and they( equifax) verified i never had an eaton's credit card ... NEVER EVER.... the collection agency said it wasn't on my credit report yet. This 416-503-9634 is a load of s**t!! they are scammers. it's possible that the suspected fraudster MAYUR PATEL from scarborough is behind this scam along with his buddies. anyone having dealings with MAYUR PATEL from SCARBOROUGH beware!! this is just one type of scam he is into.
