If you have a suspicion on which company is calling you, i.e. National Post, write an email to the CEO/Chairman...it'll get the ball rolling.

This number calls constantly at any hour of the day with no reply if you pick up.  This is very annoying and has to be stopped.

They just called me - a lag between when I answered and when the 'rep' picked up.  It is telemarketing - "hello can I speak with Mr. or Mrs. xxxx'

Me too. But then it makes me wonder - are they the one's that have set up this online posting to read people's reactions just for kicks...predicting we would google the number land on this site "they created" and ....

Or maybe that's just my crazy imagination talking. None the less - it is very annoying - grow up.

I get at least 4 a day and being in Alberta they start at 6 am.  I never answer but call back right away. I have yet to get any response on the other end.  I have a bell phone and I have recently cancelled my National post.

I'm sick of these bastards....

My case is a bit different.

The caller could actually ask for me by the name, on my direct line at work.
When I asked who the caller was & what was the purpose of the call, she just avoid the question & hung up.

I found it very disturbing that the caller could identify/address me by my name while the phone is in the name of the company.

Same thing is happening to me. Called my phone company, and they said the only thing I could do is block the number.  Unfortunately, that doesn't help find out who it is and stop them

This number calls my place of business from 1-3 times daily. Silence! Grrr!

Received 3 calls from them in 2 days. All dead silence. Reported them to CRTC.

Also having the same problem on my blackberry, report filed with CRTC this a.m.

This number calls every day and no one is there.

I am in Quebec and I receive a call from this number twice a day, every single day.  I have been receiving the calls for two or three months now.  The early call is usually around 9:30am and the later call around 4:30pm.  I've never had anything but silence and otherwise just as others here.  I am using Vonage and they say there is nothing they can do about it.  They can't even block the call.

2 calls today, no one on the line.

Received numerous call from 416-646-8799 -no answer -just silence . Please help locate this phone line or person.

RECEIVED SECOND CALL FROM SAME LINE - CALLER ID HERSELF AS REP FOR "LA PRESSE" PROMOTING A DISCOUNT ON COST OF WEEKLY PAPER & WEEKEND EDITION

this number calls me several times a day on my company Blackberry, usually when I'm in meetings. i really wish it would stop.

It seems to me that if you pick up the phone, they increase the frequency of their calls. I had them call me twice a day a few months back. It was very frustrating and I really wanted to speak to them to stop the calls. Once I got over that and stopped answering the phone, the calls stoped in ~ 1 week. Of course, they are back to calling me once a day again...

Called thier number as shown on the June 2nd post from JT and talked to reception.  She said that they were very sorry and that they would take my number off of their list.  Let's see if it works...

I recieve 5-10 calls a day on as many as 3 phone lines, Usually around 1pm and again at 5pm, Some times at the same time, Today after 5 months someone was there....The call center is called BASSTELL, Calling on behalf of the National Post, I run a business and this PISSES me off!!!!!, However, If they are calling for the national post, Call Deb Neary  416.386.2729..HE HE, Thats her direct line @ the national post....Paybacks are a b***h!!!!!

Just got called again. It's the NATIONAL POST. Respond to them however you wish.

They call now everyday for the last month, never picked it up and they never leave a message. Annoying to say the least.
