received a call from 416-942-9647 ... when I answered no message; no voice. Disconnected it.

got call from same number they told me i won something but no one would answer me

Called last night around 7:30pm. I missed the call. When I was free to attempt a call back, I got the message that the call could not be completed. No message was left.

Got a call from this number to my work blackberry, I didn't answer it in time and they didn't leave a message.  Odd but I've had similar things happen before with other numbers.

Missed call. Tried calling it back and got the "This number could not be completed as dialed" message.

This number just called me this evening on my cell phone - no message left.

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone. Picked up and there was a recording, something in this sense: "congratulations, your phone number was selected, please press one to receive a promotional gift". Should have known better not to pick this one up. Ate up 40c of my airtime.

I picked and it a was a male voice saying "CONGRATULATIONS! Your number has been selected to receive a free gift, press 1 to collect this gift"

i PURCHASED A NEW PHONE I RECEIVED A NEW PHONE NUMBER. THIS WAS MY FIRST CALL I RECEIVED ON MY NEW PHONE WHEN I ANSWERED IT A PERSON WAS SPEAKING IN SPANISH I COULDNT UNDER STAND THEM AND I HUNG UP.THIS HAPPENED ON 4-21-2008

Got this call 10:08AM CST on Monday, April 21st, no message.  Probably an auto-dialer to find active numbers and sell them to telemarketing companies.

I have at&t, formerly cingular, formerly at&t... NOT PREPAID!  I don't answer this stuff but it is a major nuisance.  Is there a do not call for cells?  Yeah, AT&T formerly Cingular... Sucks at some stuff and is slow to admit that things get really f**ed when they switch.  Service has been much more reliable in the past 6 months But, letting this crap slip through is wretched.

called twice, left no message, no name last call at 5:59pm CST.  Should not be calling cell phones!!!!!!!

got this call at 3:11 today, weird spanish recording.. i dont have t-mobile, i have at&t, wich is super weird... email me if you have an answer.

Got a call on my prepaid mobile at 19:57 Eastern. Didn't answer (didn't want to pay for the day's usage) since I didn't recognize the number. With a little research, though, I did find that this number is usually a landline.

Got the same call..  consider this ..just a dialer set up to see if anyone answers then records the number to sell to a telemarketer????  This is my guess. Just like the fwds we get in email collecting email addresses to sell.  Hmm, could this blog be doing the same ?  :-)

called me at 5:35 pm pacific time called back and could not be connected as dialed

Just got the call & it went right into some line in spanish. I'm not buying, I don't want it, No F'n Habla!

Recieved this call at 2:15 pm pacific standard time. did not answer it. I have tmobile.

number called me at 3:46 on my Alltel cell phone no message.

This number called me today at 12:46 pm and left no message on my cell phone. I did not answer the call because I did not recognize the number.

Consider this. If you're on a cell phone and you get this call, and it's not part of your favorites and it's not  within your off hours, it could very well be a dialer program used by telecom companies to pad minutes on their customers bills.
I suspect T-Mobile of facilitating something similar only with text messaging. You figure, if you have a user base of 16,000,000 customers and each customer gets one text message a month, just one, they've increased profits by 2.5Million dollars/monthly, now do this several times a month and the profits rise considerably.
If you see a number you do not recognize , it's as simple as "don't answer it" There has to be something to this. all these different people in different locations getting the same number calling. Could be NSA, could be anyone. ya never know.

I received the call from this number when I was on phone. I called back and got:
"This number could not be compelted as dialed"

Probably some spam
