left a message on my cell phone also

Returned home yesterday after being away for 11 weeks.  Checked voicemail.  Automated/computerized multitple phone call from this number, 416-981-0001, were left while we were gone.  Messages were cut short.  Several said "Nine" only.  Must be a computer calling randomly to get you to do something.

Here is how I deal with these scum. I called the cruise ship company and told them I will never use the for a cruise . Plus every time I get a call from 416-981-0001 - I call there headquarter and tie them up for an hour pretending I am interested in going on a cruise

Calls every day, but when I don't answer, they just hang up -- never leave a message.
I am ill and it's very annoying to receive these calls.

We've been getting these calls about a free NCL cruise.  The funny thing is that we are regular cruisers on NCL and there was no hint they knew us.  The gal screaming the ad needs to tone down for one thing.  Anyway, Hubby did punch 1 once and got a guy on the line.  He started asking questions about the cruise and how NCL worked.  The guy had no clue to the answers to very easy questions.
We've now reported it to our NCL travel agent and she is shooting it up the line at the company.  So we'll see if they can do anything since it is in Canada.
By the way, they are a good cruise line at a reasonable price and you really can do what you want everyday.  They are known for "Freestyle Cruising."
Anyway, off to Alaska and the Inside Passage.
We'll see what the company can do about these people calling.

For the past few weeks, have received calls from this number.  Because we have caller ID, I began by not picking up.  When I finally did, in order to request they put our number on the "do not call" list, there was no one there.  We've been hit with so many of these types of calls lately, we're seriously considering discontinuing our land line phone.

Receive unwanted calls once a day, they do not leave a message, and I would like this to stop.

Got a call but didn't receive and no message was left.

I answered and they offered me a curse and hotel stay.... over all it sounded like a great deal.  I assume it was a scam and said NO.

FYI,
1)   Don't even pick up the call ----- you are not obligated to talk to anyone on unknown phone
numbers .    Surely you don't open unknown e-mail addresses, do you?
2)  Just think of these calls as if they were being made by inmates at a prison.   If the caller is not an inmate, then perhaps they should be
3)  if it's important enough your unknown caller should leave a message      
4)  if you happen to answer the call and the caller is a telemarketer, or is rude or pushy just say "hang on a minute" ( don't even wait for a polite opening ),  put the phone down, and later, hang up when you hear the dial tone.  

TIME is the most valuable asset to telemarketers so the longer you keep them on line the more likely you will be removed from the contact list.   DON'T TALK TO THEM !!!   It works for me !!

I have won several Norwegian cruises.  Why is this number still active?  The complaints are stated back to March.

Wasn't home when they called ID name is Bell Canada. I called the number and it says GBI560P... then it begins a count-down. I hung up quick, I got a feeling this is a hijack and somehow I will be billed for their call. I'm going to keep an eye onmy bill and report it to AT&T and the FTC at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/.

This  comes up on ID  Bell Canada, and they always leave a message from a shrill voiced woman screaming my whole family won a cruise

Have been getting lots of these, whatever they say, they are usually scam calls telling you have won something, like a trip. They always want a credit card to pay for taxes, handling charges, but charge your card, give you nothing & rip you off! If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!!!

I just got a call from this number today with an overly perky recorded message about taking a cruise. The caller ID said Bell Canada.

No message and checking online it appears to be a spam call.....

Received a call this morning at 2:17 PM...Aug. 2nd 2011 no message left as I missed the call....

Received an automated phone call stating I had won a Royal Caribbean Cruise for my household, even though it was at my work phone number.  I pressed '9' to be unsubscribed from future calls -- let's see if that holds true!

It would be nice if there was a group that called their number 24 hours a day, it is toll free for you, but they have to pay. And if thousands of people called and hung up, it would clog up their lines and cost them money at the same time.
If only there was a group.... anonymous.

We get these calls regularly, but thanks to our caller ID service we are able to ignore them.

Unfortunately the fact that these call originate from Canada, they are not affected by any of our do not call lists.

Hopefully, they will tire of never getting an answer from our phone.

My caller id said, "Canada Bell"

I have had calls from this phone number a couple of times. It is a recording that says, "Congratulations from Norwegian Cruise Lines." At that point I always hang up.

I keep getting calls form this number, but they leave no message!  I am on the National Do not Call list, but still keep getting phone calls from unwanted numbers. (Telemarketers)...

Been getting these calls too & think it is a scam, they asked for a credit card & that is where I hung up! Lot of these calls are relayed thru a US number but originate overseas!

They call every day that I've won a free cruise on Norwegian cruise line.  I have blocked their number, but they call on different number each time I block it.  I'm unable to stop them.  I'm on the do not call list.

they said i won a cruise and to select 1 for more info or 2 to be deleted from their calling list.
