I just received the same call. I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the name or area code.  But a Purple Heart truck had passed by 15 minutes earlier. Coincidence?

This Sharon Madlo (417-962-0272) called today and left no message. I put out donations for Purple Heart a couple times a year when someone calls to let me know there will be a truck in the area. It's usually never the same person who solicits me and the only time they leave a message (a reminder call) is when I tell them I have something to donate. So it probably is Purple Heart calling.

Perhaps the caller is volunteering for Purple Heart or a paid telemarketing employee calling on behalf of Purple Heart. Madlo Sharon appeared in the caller ID at 7:45p EDT. I answered a little annoyed, and when nobody appeared on the line I said, "Talk to me. You called me." Perhaps the caller wasn't prepared, and decided to hang up. I heard nobody.

Who is this "Sharon Madlo" ?

I didn't answer my phone when called before 11a this (Saturday) morning. Caller ID displayed as "Griffin Nyoka."

Said she was from Purple Heart and wanted to know if I had any clothes or items to donate, because a truck was going to be in the area.

Yes, I've received a call from a Sharon Madlo on my caller ID.  No message.  Weird.

This number has called two days in a row during the day(morning and early afternoon). "Madlo Sharon" on the caller id. No message.
