My wife received a phone call from 423-733-1560, since she didn't recognize the number she asked the lady to leave a message but she hung up.  We received a call in the evening but did not answer it. Called number but it was busy. Later on it kept ringing but noone answered. Looked up phone number on superpages.com and the following info came up, Not sure if they exist or not:

that used to be our number it isnt anymore and we never called anyone and said anything like that . i am marty and crystals daughter and we would never do anything like that i promise it wasnt me or my parents so maybe it is someone elses number now but it wasnt us and i can promise you that.so shut up about this it was not us.so QUIT LYING ON MARTY AND CRYSTAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered the magazines as well. If you tell them that the 49.95 is too much, they will lower your payments. Mine are down to 20.00 a month. But I couldn't cancel either. I wonder if we can dispute it through our credit card company????? I don't want the stupid magazines anymore either.

I made the dumb mistake of answering that call and siging up for the magazines. the number that they gave me is as follows 877.279.6354. i have been paying $49.95 every month for the past 8 months and i dont always get all of my magazines. and when i asked to cancle they say that i can not do that.

I too recieved 4 calls from this number, and one from another in this area code. No messages were left. I'm just wondering who sold my cell #.

Got the same call...decided to research it.  The company is called Mountain Area Communications.  Apparently they are a magazine subscription company.  They don't have a very good reputation with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).  I would suggest not answering their phone calls all together. I received a call from 423=733-1560, telling me I am getting a 500.00 visa gift card, they just want to confirm that I have a visa/mastercard or visa/mastercard debit card. I told them I don't want anything and the person responded by saying he is sending me info in the mail. I told him no and to place me on his do not call list and he just hungup. I tried calling back and all I got was a fast busy. I just wonder how they got my cell number.

I actually received mre then 5 calls in a 2 day period & one my co-worker picked up & they told her it was a customer appreciation call. When she asked from where they hung up on her! After that the ext call I picked up They told me the same line I am reading that I won A $500.00 visa card but when I confronted them for hangg up on my co-worker they hung up on me, without giving me details. So I called back to speak to a "supervisor" they proceeded to give me an 800 # and when I called I got anoter lady who said that last call was a magazine subscribtion offer calling. If I ordered that is how you get the card. NOTHING was mentoned about shipping & hanleing fee's only watch there are ALOT of CRAZY scams going on to get card & bank account #'s. I just reported a major one today BE CAREFUL EVERYONE.....!

They just called me and said i won 500 dollar online credit card. said no gimmicks, all I would have to do is pay shipping and handling. does anyone know anything about this? if it is real how do i claim it?
