I received a text from this number similar to the posts above. I decided to act along a little bit so I could get information from him. He said his name was David Thomas, his physical address is 138 North 13th Avenue Upland, California 19786. He gave me an email address of Davthmm@gmail.com. Hopefully if anyone was scammed by him they can use this information in a prosecution case. Good luck.

Same thing just happened to me from 424.218.6503.  Posted vehicle on Craigs list received text what is the current condition and is it still available.  Then what is the zip code so I can contact my transport company and what is your paypal e-mail address.

I got a text from that number also wanting my information so he can send it to his transporters to pick up my horse

Same here got text on an old tractor wanting to buy sight unseen and transport is $900 immediately.  Wont tell me where it is shipping, just wants a paypal account

Yes, we also received text messages from this number wanting to buy a car, unseen and, you got it, wanted to see how much it would cost for his "transport Company" to ship. 900dollars. Smells of a scam to me too.

Same here. Got a text an hour after posting the ad.  Wants my van sight unseen to be picked up by his 'shipper' and I'm in Alaska.   I can't believe people still fall for this garbage.

Just received a message via text here is the persons messages:
Is the vehicle still available and current condition...and wanted full address so transport company can calculate cost of pick up and immediately told me its going to cost $450 and if I had a paypal acount. Did not offer to come and look at the vehicle nor did the person identify themselves at all. Number that text was 424-218-6503.

Me too.  Must be a scam.  Wants my address so that his transportation company can come pick-up my car site unseen.  I keep trying to get info from them but they just keep asking for my address.

Got a tx msg from 424-218-6503 about an item on Craigslist using wording similar to that of a scammer, offering to purchase the item sight unseen, wants personal information, addresses, etc.
