these are the "Interest Rate Modification" scammers.

Do you know Richard Fields?  NO!  Do you know where I can find him?  I HAVE HAD THIS NUMBER FOR OVER TWO YEARS..........IT DOES NOT BELONG TO RICHARD FIELDS.  TAKE ME OFF YOUR CALL LIST.

I got calls from this number but never a message.

Been receiving unwanted calls from several scams.  My cell is available to my family only.  I put these pesty numbers in my Contacts "Reject List' and the call goes directly to voicemail.  Not answering any of these in the future.

Various numbers have been calling my cell phone which are not recognizable and unknown to me. .If the caller is a legitimate/legal company/person, they would leave a message otherwise, just ignore and don't even bother to answer. Believe me, they will get tired and will eventually stop. REMINDER: if you don't recognize any of these, DON'T ANSWER.

This number along with 206.397.1563 and 360.340.9505 have called my cell phone (which is DNC registered) 29... yes TWENTY NINE... times since yesterday beginning at 5:15 pm. When you answer, it's a recording, and they say you can press one to be taken off their do not call list, which is absolute b***s***. When I try to speak with a costumer service rep, it automatically hangs up on me. I'm 6 months pregnant. I don't have time to be getting calls all day and night from a robot. I have put in complaints with the FCC, but we will see if that even helps. Obviously the DNC list is worth absolutely nothing.

Both of us are receiving the same crappy calls. We never bother to answer any of these calls as we don't recognize the numbers. We believe that if it is important, they will leave a message and if's up to us to decide whether we have to call back or not because we can analize if this is a legit, important or just plain crazy, crappy call and 9.99% of these calls are garbage.You can google the number as reflected on your mobile or land line and you will be able to know what they are. Also, a reminder, if after several calls and they don't get any response or call back, they stop using the same number but will try to call using a different number. The national register "do not call" doesn't work. So, just bear and grin. It will stop sooner or later.

Tons of calls from this number, lodged all possible complaints against robo-call (when you pick up an automated recorded message plays). Hopefully they will stop bothering, but it looks like it has been going on for a while when you check this forum.

I keep getting phone calls from the 425-291-8405, and I do not want it any more.

It rang my phone for 15 min, before I picked up, when I did there was total silence, then they hung up. I am on DNC list. You may need to refresh your name number on DNC every couple of years.

I also received this call today 10/06/2010. Based on the posting on this forum, I put the number in my telephone call block list, so next time they call, my phone will not ring, instead it will give a busy signal.

Got that call from 425 291 8405 on (MY CELL PHONE)obviously at an inoportune time.
From what I can tell they get these tel nos. from who knows where, people in distress (mortgage or credit cards).
An automated tape Said something about a government pogram to help out.
HOWEVER, WHAT REPUTABLE COMPANY does not even answer when you call back, leave a message or or or..........
I guess it beats talking to some schmuck in India (calling you, I've had that too) fishing for a possible sucker for who knows what

People.....when you get these calls, put the number in your contact list as "telemarker", "scumbag1", whatever you want....

So next time they call you, ANSWER it, but then, DON'T talk to them.... just go brush your teeth, watch TV, flush a toilet, run the sink water, anything to WASTE their time and now it HANGS their phone line for a while and will cost them more money in phone bills.  Spread the word!!

Do this with debt collectors too....any of these types of callers...survey callers, event calls, etc...

Just got a call but  ignored it since I didn't recognize it.  No message was left.

I get calls from this number all the time but they never leave a message.  I'm on the DNC list too.  This is definitely unsoliceted and if anyone knows how to have your number removed from their list please let me know.  Thanks!

This number is reported as a residential in Renton, WA.

What is the "do not call list" for?  It seems to be not working!   If these people can still call who they want than what good is it to put your #'s on the list?

This number has called my cell phone a few times now. Cell phones are never suppsoed to receive unsolicited calls.  It also talks about medical/personal debt before name-dropping Barack Obama.

Calls are repeatedly coming in from this number.  I, too, am on the "do not call" list.  When I answer, there's nothing but silence... no automated message, no person, nothing.  It's rather annoying.
