I got a call from some D-bag named Vince, who claimed I owed his credit collection company (Mediation recovery Center) $1000.00 dollars but he would give me a break if I paid $112.00. Claimed the debt was from ten years ago, I told him to go F&*$ his mother! He called again so i reported him to the Consumer protection agency. Have not heard from since that day!

It is a cruise and a timeshare company based out of Florida. People need to contact the Florida Attorney Generals Office, their state Attorney Generals Office, the FTC, FCC.  It is a cheap cruise that they claim is free but it is not. There are 4 class actions lawsuit pending against them. The first call they will not give you any information. You have to wait for a follow up call. They do not want to get caught for breaking the law.

this person called me once. i didnt answer that time. they havent called me since. i am a student, so for me this is more worry some. i read previous comments about a foghorn and a cruise, and i have a suggestion. the next time that person calls, pretend you're this really big, angry, and tough guy, threatening to call the police if they ever call again. (i did this with my grandma and it worked).

Yeah, it's a survey.  Just to mess with them, I answered all the survey questions.  They were all over the place: What is your highest level of education?, Do you own, rent or other? Do you have diabetes?, Do you have a septic tank?, Do you use a C-Pap?, etc.  My goal was to tie up their line and give them nothing they could use.  A human did answer.  I gave them the above name and a random zip code.  He thanked and said that someone will be getting back to me with my Cruise Tickets.  Lucky me, eh?  Then another recorded survey started and when I pressed an incorrect number, it disconnected.  The only way to stop these guys is to tie up the phone line and give them junk for data.  
I can't wait for them to call back and ask for Alfred E. Newman.  I'm going to keep them on the line as long as I can.  :)

I thought I am the only one who get this annoying calls from this same phone number! I don't have friends, debts nor relatives from this region but how did they get my personal cell phone number?

The call was about a free cruise but you can bet I'll get more calls from folks trying to sell diabetic supplies or other products of some type. They asked for my name and phone # so I guess whoever they are they will be calling to sell me something. I've learned my lesson never to give credit,bank, soc-sec #s or stuff like that over the phone. All that noise you'll hear in the back ground is fake out sounds. They want you to believe it's legit, but of course it's not real.

I picked up and there was what appeared to be a littlew breathing and then they hung up.

We have 7 lines at my job and we get this call on each line at least once a month. Why can't something be done about this. I can't even get through to anyone to ask them to remove us from their call list. No one here is EVER going to take their opinion poll and it just causes us to pick up a call that interrupts our job.
