it's NOT GOOGLE. This is a scammer with a robodialer, spoofing numbers. If you are foolish enough to answer, and foolish enough to agree to their service, they'll charge you $199 a month to supposedly put you on the first page of Google. They are NOT Google, not in any way related to Google!

Listen people, this is not Google calling.  Google does not call people or sell anything to get your web page to pop up on top of a search.  Yes, they sell ads, but no, they are not calling everyone in the world to update listings.  These calls are scams.

Received a robo-call from "Sharon, my local Google specialist".  That's all of the spiel that I heard as I immediately hung up and blocked the number.

Most likely spoofed and very unlikely that its from Google.

Google is a pain in the a--. Ever since I've been associated with them  (Chrome browser, Google account) i've been hounded  endlessly by Google in some form or another. The increase in spam alone is overwhelming, my junk file  is full every day @ login. Luckily, thanks to this site  & all of you at least I know what's calling & feel better about never answering my business line. It's an aggravating waste of money to have a landline for a phone  I cannot answer.  

Having just received a bogus call from the 425-406-9444 BOGUS, SPOOFED number, I called  International Telecom LTD 417 2nd Ave W, Seattle · (206) 479-5200  this is in regards to the owner of number  #425-406-9444 based on info in an earlier post.  I spoke with a very gracious woman who told me they are being "spoofed" by whoever is actually calling and pretending to be th 425-406-9444 "Sharon from Google" number.  I believe her, and she did say that her company will pursue the bogus spoofer through their state's Attorneys General's office if they can determine the source of the spoofed calls, who/what is making them, etc.  If anyone actually does pin down real info that exposes the 425-406-9444 entity, please let Int'l Telecom Ltd. know as they are getting lots of angry calls, and understandably so.  I can understand the difficulty this spoofer/spammer is creating for THEM - Google listed my unlisted, private, non-business cell phone number (which I've had for over 15 yrs!) as "ServPro" in Phoenix........and even the actual ServPro corporate office had NO record of any of their franchises, etc., at either MY cell phone number OR the address that dear Google shows in search results.  One search engine harvests incorrect info from Google, and another, and another, and the cycle just continues.  
Please tho:  the 425 spoofer is NOT Int'l Telecom in Seattle.  Whoever they are, I'd like to see them swing from the neck in the town square. *ARGH!*

How can I get Google to stop calling me every day or so?

It's not google, it's just a sleazy telemarketer selling SEO services.

They all try to make it sound as if the call is coming directly from google. It's a scam, I get a dozen or more of these calls each week, and this particular one, "Hi this is Sharon, your local google specialist" is particularly annoying and persistent.

Robocaller "Sharon, from Google" - too bad. Used to like that search engine. Will never use it again!
