I request to all of you reading this notes. By not answering, putting them in call block or ask them anything to prove you that they are not scammer is not going to take all of us any where. CURSE AND TALK VULGAR TO THEM WITH YOUR OWN WORDS. IF YOU CAN NOT TALK LIKE ME THAT IS OK BUT THERE IS NO REASON TO BE NICE WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE IN SCAM AND ROBBERY PROFESSION. They called me the other day and there was NOTHING on the web about it, so it must be new.

Call started with "Don't hang up, this is an important message from American Express Member Services" then went into the lower interest rate speil.  I pressed one and the girl said "Cardmember Services".  I asked about AmEx and she said they do things for AmEx.  I told her to prove it, prove to me she wasn't an a***ole scammer.  She asked me to hang on and put me on hold, then the line went dead.  I called AmEx about it.

Sounds like our numbers have been sold off to another group of annoying people. This jerk wad has his auto dialer set to redial every 6 seconds.  Had 20 calls from him 6 seconds apart .. fortunately with my hand dandy call blocker I wasn't even bothered by these calls. Only noticed them after I was reviewing the call block logs.

I always answer and dial 1 to get them on line. Message was to lower interest rate on American Express card . They hung up without coming on line. If they would have come on line and start talking, at the same time I will ask my standard question . What is your rate to have sex in you rear? Let all of us do same thing , they may find out we all know they are scammers.

THE BAD NEWS: Card Services calls aren't going to stop anytime soon.

THE GOOD NEWS: You can retaliate, reduce the misery, and even have some fun.

RETALIATE:

Waste these turkeys' time. Keep them on the line by acting like an interested prospect. Give them bogus data, including a combination of two different credit card numbers, scrambled Social Security digits, and a modified ZIP Code. Important: provide a credit card company's real 800 number.

After they call the credit card company, you can give them the same credit card info as before with two of the numbers transposed, thus causing them to make a second verification call. Or you can respond, "Guess what ... H-O-O-N-N-K-K [from a $6 air horn] you've been PRANKED! Call back tomorrow for more bullshot." Now they're the butt of your joke.

REDUCE THE MISERY:

Landlines. Enroll for the free service at nomorobo.com. Simultaneous ringing, a free feature many providers offer, enables nomorobo to receive, answer and, after one ring, automatically hang up on nuisance telephone numbers.

Cell phones. Block the number, an option that becomes available on the iPhone if you click on the "i" on the right in the list of recent calls and scroll to the bottom. Unfortunately, Card Services will keep calling from new spoofed numbers, which eventually should motivate you to retaliate.

HAVE FUN:

Turning the tables on the perpetrators with mischievous deception and the news they've been duped provides instantaneous vigilante satisfaction. Plus you serve your fellow call recipients by slowing down this evil operation's efforts to defraud them.

Pressed 1 to harass and the Jerk on the phone was in a bad mood and when I asked about American Express he hung up.

This jerk felon is trying to get your American Express number by calling you and scamming!  Talk to this moron and tell him he is going to jail or hell if he keeps this idiotic scam going!!!  Why can't our government put these felons in jail WITHOUT PHONES!!!!
