Got a call from them like in the afternoon offering me a cruise or something. I blocked that number right away.

No company sells numbers to scam callers, or anyone else. Criminals use the Internet to do sequential auto dialling and display fake calling numbers.

Just got one, no messages left.

Appears that Telus and other service providers are selling our cell phone numbers to scammed. a complaint to catch and your federal gov't rep and minister is necessary. Go gettim!

I don't answer unknown calls. This number came up on my call display. Do not answer unknown numbers. People use numbers like this to scam and could also be in your town while calling which is called " spoofing".

I got the call too.  I didn't answer it but it's the third time they've called in the past couple of days.  how do you stop the calls?

This number (438-800-0478) called me twice... I did not answer it but looked up the number online and saw that it was a Free Trip To Bahamas scam.  Put their number on my blocked list on my phone...

Call came in on my private unlisted cell phone at about 1:30 PM on Good Friday.  Did not answer, for I am not an idiot that answers calls from numbers like this.  Live in WInnipeg, Manitoba.

Didn't p/u they're as usual and they didn't leave a message as usual. They've called before. I think they are making lists of phone numbers where people answer, then sell it to others who now have "live" people to pitch to. Probably they retry numbers where an answering machine has been detected
