Didn't answer this one but it showed up on the caller ID as "Local Call Back"

Someone tried to call from 440-220-4016 while I was on the phone and all it says on caller id is" local call back", they didn't leave a voice mail or nothing so must not be important. I don't answer numbers I don't know.

I just got a call from this number on my landline. The only people that I gave this number to are my parents, so anyone else who calls it is probably looking for money. :/ He asked for me, but horribly mangled my name. I asked him who was calling and he gave me his name and not the company/organization he was calling for (Real cute there, buddy) and asked again if I was there. I just said that he had the wrong number and hung up. Let's hope that ends it and they don't keep calling back.

Calls soliciting money for various causes.  Very Persistent.
Caller ID Shows as a local number.  440 area code hardly local.  However any info can be put in caller ID.  They should be made aware of do not call list.  Probably is but ignores it.

this company is a scam do not donate to them they are keeping the money, ask them there company name and contact info, they wont give it, ask for supervisor they wont get them and try calling it back they wont answer,,,,,,,,,BEWARE.........................

I answered, and nobody there.

We've been getting these calls too.  Now I know not to answer.  We live in Fairview Park.

Called at 7:40 PM.  I let the answering machine pick up all calls after 6:00 because usually it is someone asking for money that I don't have.  They did not leave a message so I don't know what they wanted.

The number comes up on my landline caller id as "Local Call Back". I thought that a Google search would reveal someone I knew or a business that I was thinking of doing business with; however, it appears that it is just another annoying telemarketer that shouldn't be calling me.

I answer the phone, no one there.

calling several times a day

This caller has been calling for the past 2 days.  When my voicemail picks up they must listen to my voicemail message and hang up.  They just stay on long enough that it records noise in the background which sounds as if they are in a car on their cell phone.  If I don't know the phone number I do not pick up, because 9 out of 10 times it is a telemarketer for a charity.

I didn't pick up this call and they didn't leave a message.  My Caller ID said "Local Call back" as well.  Honestly, I googled it just because I thought it was somebody I knew and I just couldn't put my finger on it.  Guess I was wrong. I didn't have to deal with the hassle of actually picking up the call.  And now, thanks to these reports here I will make sure I don't the next time.  I have no fear of pushy solicitors...I simply hang up.  I'm also on the do-not-call list...guess that doesn't mean a whole lot to these people.  Nor the other 5-10 callers I get a day.

I've been receiving calls from this number for over a month now.  They will not leave a message, it comes up as a local 440 call, & they're on to the fact that 4 rings & my machine picks up, so they hang up after the 3rd ring. At my old home I used to get the same number call.  The first time it was a "missing children" charity, the 2nd time it was for "injured/disabled vets".  Needless to say, it's solicitation for "charity".  But they are VERY PUSHY & won't take NO for an answer!  Don't even pick the phone up!

I received a call from these people claiming to be part of a Missing Childrens Hotline. He also stated he was in Georgia. When the call came up on my caller id it said "Ohio Call" . He called me by my whole name and I preceded to tell him My number is on the do not call list. He stated he works for a non profit organization and that the national do not call registry did not pertain to him. I told him "well now it does so don't call me anymore thank you and goodbye"

Call from this number was also from a company that raises money for a missing children's network based in Lawrenceburg, GA

This comes up on my caller ID as (Local Call back) but has a 440 area code... Odd.
& somebody on the other end claims to be from Missing Children's hotline asking for a tax deductible pledge.
I told her I didn't have the finances set aside (That's true! I am going to college now)
Yet she still persisted!
