I received a call from this number, as well as 440-210-3527 previously. Called ID shows "Ohio Call". 800notes.com identifies both numbers used by Capio Partners. I've also received a bill from Capio for past due payment of physician services at the Cleveland Clinic. My bill from the the Cleveland Clinic did confirm the same total that went to collections. Unfortunately for me, this was a legit collection, but I prefer not to answer and send a check in the mail just to be safe.

I received a message of someone breathing on the phone and background talk about water? Probably some sort of scam.

I received a call and they asked me to verify information. I told them no way! They had an old address so I figured this wasn't something that I need to worry about. They just said 'Thank You, have a good day'.

Got a call from this number November 2011 about an already paid bill from 2009. Kept asking me for credit card to "take care of this today".  Said she was a debt collector: Capio Partners to collect on an insurance co-pay.  Gave fax number 903-893-4825 to submit credit card information for payment.  Told her to send me proof.

Capio Partners, they are a debt collection agency.
I was quite upset, they tried to get me to pay a bill that I actually already paid off.
Why would you EVER give a credit card number to a person that just calls you?
The functional difference between debt collectors and Nigerian scammers is functionally the same, and neither should ever be paid.
Let it get taken to court, every dollar paid to these agencies keeps them open another day

Received three phone calls from an unknown number.  I answered each time and it was a "process server" stating I had a legal claim against me.  I asked if I was being charged with a crime and the caller said "yes".  She wouldn't tell me the name of the company and asked if I wanted to "work out the claim".  I'm sorry but if I'm being charged with a "crime" how do you work that out.  Sounds like an illegal third party collection agency to me.  She refused to provide me with any information until I verified my info. You moron - you called me don't you know who you called.  After I shared some colorful language and she hung up I immediately got a call from 440-3389-4245.  When I answered it was a recorded message telling me to hold for a representative.  Since they won't tell me what this is in reference to and they've illegal told me I'm being charged with a crime, I pressed the option for "not the person you're looking for", not that this will stop the calls.  Any information on this number would be helpful as I would like to pursue my legal options against them.
