I think the word RELENTLESSLY sums up all we need to know about this company.

Good luck.  My recommendation is to skip filing a complaint with DoNotCall.gov and go straight to the FCC or your state's attorney general for more help.  These people are "relentless," as they say!

Have been getting calls every few days from this number.  Sadly, it's a local organization or some sort.

They must promote local newspapers (from my reading of the comments above).  I've never picked up the phone and don't intend to.

C C A Promotions has been pestering us for years now from the same number. The Do Not Call list is yet another insulting joke by OVomit! I have filed numerous complaints with the DNC & FCC. Does absolutely no good! Good luck to anyone that can stop them!

I don't subscribe to any new papers, I have asked them not to call, it may not be a scam, but clearly they don't listen. I have reported them. Maybe if they get hit in the wallet, they will stop.....

I tried to send the feedback at that web address...but they had received the max "for this time period, try again later"

I sent CCA an email requesting I be taken off their call list as I have no interest in receiving the paper, that if I did I would contact the paper. I hope they honor my request!

They call at least a dozen times a month.  They leave no message.  I am on the DNC list.

I  just got a call from 440-887-0069   Said he was offering a discount subscription to The Olean Times Herald. This paper in NY The call came from Ohio. Strange.

They call me constantly. I have told them several times I am not interested in receiving our local newspaper. Now I just let it go to the answering machine. The DNC deal doesn't work. They'll just call you from a different phone number.

CID said Ohio Call. I let it ring. I don't answer any call unless I know who's calling. Seriously considering dumping the landline phone as I never get these calls on my cell.

I'm not talking about Just this number, the FCC can't seem to stop any of this!  ...How much of our tax-dollars are paying for constant harassment from these scammers while on the "Do Not Call"?  

I have a GREAT Panasonic phone which blocks up to 30 numbers, but for the last 3 months, I now keep written records of Who Is Blocked, The Number, and The Name used.  --because it's 'only 30 numbers' I can block, I start deleting the oldest first.  ...I shouldn't have to keep lists like this this.  PHONE COMPANIES, like ATnT should provide, FREE OF CHARGE, Unlimited Blocking.

Any chance we can support a bill for this to happen?  Yeah, right.

This is a newspaper union that is being used to try and get new subscribers.  I don't believe that this is a valid use of DNC, as I have NEVER had a subscription to the paper in question, nor has anyone in this home.  Finally, if you do represent this company and check this site for comments, please know that I would NEVER SUBSCRIBE to ANY "paper" that used horrible spelling techniques, e.g. "4 R NEWSPAPER S".

They were very nice.

They just called me today and my caller ID said it was an Ohio number, but I live in Massachusetts.  I answered anyway because I know actual people in Ohio.  So, I thought it was someone I knew.  They were asking me if I wanted to subscribe to my local paper, Sentinel and Enterprise, which I already do.  Very suspicious to me.  I am also on the "do not call list" but that never seems to do any good.

REPEATEDLY NO MESSAGE PHONE CALLS AT LEAST ONCE A DAY

Calls are from St. Augustine Record newspaper.  We previously subscribed, moved to a location they are not able to deliver to.  Nobody informed the telemarketers.  I've simply placed the # on call block.

Telemarketers and call centers are a plague to all.  The FCC's do not call program is another worthless fraud to the taxpayer.  Simply not answering or politely asking a telemarketer to stop calling is also a joke that won't  work.  As a business owner, i have been told telemarketers do not have to comply with the DNC list.  True.  The best solution is to exercise your dark side and be as rude and evil to telemarketers as possible.  If they have to listen to 999 crappy acting people for every 1 sale they scam, they will sooner seek other employment.  Remember, when the People lead, the government will follow.  No law states that i can't call a telemarketer everyday and remind the poor fool who works there that I still don't want their crappy business.  BTW, this crap a$$ 4 r newspaper lies and states they are with your local newpaper.  LYING SOBs!!!

In March '12 I received a call, trying to sell me a subscription to my local newspaper, offering an "introductory price" for a trial subscription. I told the lady that I had subscribed to that paper in the past and terminated because of my dissatisfaction with it. She told me that they were making a "new effort" and printing only good and positive news. Well, all news isn't "good and positive," so I told her I still was not interested. She then became very rude. However, I did not get another call until today, 6 months later. I went to the website to have my number taken off their list, and the line where I was instructed to type my phone number would not let me type past the first two digits of the last four digits of my number.

CID said 4 R Newspaper S. Again they call. Have never done business with them and never would.
