i just missed a call i didnt know the number so i didnt answer

got a call from 442-074-575027 on Feb 4th at 8:48pm.  Did not answer.  Also have received calls from 442-074-562932 & 442-074-939324.  I go thru Sprint.

received a call from 442-074-575027. came up as no name.

This is very strange. I got a call from the same number y'all did. 442-074-575027 on Monday night at 8:17pm and no voicemail message. I have Verizon too. I was half tempted to call back, but I didn't cause I assumed that it's an out of country call and I don't want to pay a butt load of money to Verizon for calling a number that I don't know who it belongs too.

I had the same type of warranty message about my car and it asked you to press 1 to agree to something or 2 to decline.  The message sounded like a recording.  I pressed 2 and it said they took me off the caller list.  I hope that's all it did.  The number I was called from was 442-074-183358. or maybe it's (44)207-418-3358.  The 44 is a United Kingdom desigination code.

I just got a weird call from that number to.  They asked about my car warranty and hung up when I asked who they were and how they got my number.  WEIRD.

Got a call form this number last night at 8:39 p.m. I'm on Alltel. I've gotten in the habit of not answering calls from numbers I don't recognize and I'm glad I ignored it based on the stories on this message board so far.

missed the call last nite an seen it was a 12 diget ph.# called altel an they could not tell me ant thing,but said that it was not a call from inside the US.Glad I did not answer it.I see some one that did got charged a lot of money on a scam call.Hope some one can get it shut down

I JUST GOT A CALL FROM THE SAME NUMBER A FEW MINUTES AGO ON MY ALLTEL CELL PHONE.... DIDN'T MAKE IT IN TIME TO ANSWER IT, AND ALMOST CALLED IT BACK WHEN I NOTICED THERE WERE SO MANY NUMBERS - SO DID A SEARCH AND FOUND THIS DISCUSSION GROUP.  VERY ODD.... THE CELL PHONE COMPANIES SHOULD BE MADE AWARE OF THIS AND PUT A STOP TO IT IMMEDIATELY.      SCARY - ESPECIALLY IF IT IS A SCAM AND CHARGES THE CELL PHONE MONEY.  NOT GOOD.

I got a call tonight from this number around 9:00PM. They said that my auto warranty had expired and if i would like to renew it press one. I did and i started to talk to a real person. The asked me the make and model of my vehicle and after I told them they hung up. Kind of strange.

I think it may be a RX scamming company as I have been getting calls from them as well. the rx scamming number is 800-945-1733 and the number that just called is 442074575027

I got the same call.  They asked for the make and model of my car.  I asked what company they work for and they hung up.  They called my cell (Verizon).  Verizon was not helpful but I will try again, as I see many people are having an issue.

How do we get to the bottom of this?

im the one that started this thread an im on alltel. i did a search of the area code and it said around San Diego but my boss at work said the 047 was a foreign number so who knows. a guy i work with said his brother got a weird call a couple days ago that charged him 23 dollars as soon as he answered the phone. so be careful.

i use myxertones too but i never got a phone call like this before and i've used it a long time ago

I got a phone call from 442-074-575027 also at 12:17 pm est today. I didnt answer because I was at work, but no message was left.  I am a Virgin Mobile pre-paid user.  ??? who knows

the only thing i can think of is that i started using a "free ringtones" site (myxer tones) and they are calling. Anyone else use this? maybe find a correlation...

Just got the same call. I didn't answer. I'm on Sprint. I believe it is the betginning of telemarketing on cell phones. Time to put myself on the Cell-Do Not Call list.

Just got a call from this number on a Sprint cell phone. It was automated, and was talking about a car warranty about to expire. I have no car warranties, so this call was not for me.
