I received this call as from 442-079-703600, they left no message. I called back and there was no answer. I have never had or wanted an American Express card.  I do not owe any credit card, financial, medical, or any companies or anyone, for that matter, any money at all.

If this is a collection agency it is in error. This is the first call I received from this number. I recently filled out two forms on line on what was supposed to be a secure and trusted site. I entered my phone number. I think the company or companies may have resold some of my information which resulted in the call. I think this is from a company that scams people.

Maybe they'd have less bad debts to collect if they hadn't outsourced all of those jobs to India!

Recieved a call from 442-079-7036 at 11.15am on 12/16. Didn't answer as I didn't know the number. Didn't leave a VM.

Kind of useless to call number back. you cant understand a word HAPU says. I just hung up. Nice job outsourcing US jobs to INDIA!!!!!! Maybe the company might collect some of their debts if they had someone speaking ENGLISH!!!

I know this is coming from India because of the extra numbers on my caller ID and they are trying to collect on one of my debts...just don't know which credit card they are trying to collect for (I never had an AMEX).  My caller ID showed 442-079-703600 but the man (with a thick Indian accent) said he was from 1st Source Advantage to call him back at (800) 430-7345.

GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER...IT IS A COLLECTION AGENCY...AMERICAN EXPRESS...TOLD THEM NOT ME....THEY KEEP CALLING

Does not appear to be a real # -- yet. Wiki says: "North American area code 442 is a scheduled telephone area code to be overlaid onto 760. Callers may begin dialing 442 in May 2009; 442 becomes mandatory in November 2009." I tried to google the # with area code 760 instead of 442 & got nothing for that either. Strongly suspect it is a debt collector. Caller id had the # plus the words "unknown name."

Called twice in rapid succession. I dont know anyone in this area code.

This call was from California. I don't have friends from California! Who was it?
