A recorded message about my car warranty getting ready to expire.

I believe they got the cell phone number from AAA when I called for a tow.  Anyone else call AAA at 800-222-4357 or Enterprise rent a car?  Wanted to renew a vehicle maintenace contract I never had.  Might be called Auto Solutions.  Also gave my number to local UPS guy. My phone is a gov't phone (contract and billing of many cell phones on same invoice).They also call from:

Auto warranty crap, every 2 days. Same message. They are calling me at a new work number, and the only folks that I provided the number to was my dealership when I had work done. The calls started about a month after I had my car in for service. Could be coincidence, but I'm guessing either Audi or the the dealership - Howard Cooper (Ann Arbor, MI) sold my information. Hope they got a good price, because I will never buy another car from them again. I've been receiving these calls for 3 months now and I can't get them to stop. I've hit whatever number to be removed. I've talked to people on the other end, but they are typically rude and hang up.

On my work cell phone, about the dozen call this week. I mess with them and waste as much of their time as I can and even asked them to hold as I made music and kept saying "while your call is important to me..blah...blah" .. of course when you ask them for a phone number or address they claim to only have been there for 3 days or so "So you just showed up to an unknown building and started work!!?? WOW that's amazing!!! How'd you know where to go the next day? same building or do you change buildings like phone numbers to avoid authorities...????" Click... at least I can get a good laugh out of it.. and hope noone falls for this obvious scam.

Received the call at work...when I answered they hung up. I don't have caller id so I *69. What a waste of my day answering.

Same warranty b***s*** scam. Twice now I have politely requested that they take my number off of their call list. They simply hang up on me.

Is there no way to track these people down?  Has anyone tried to sign up for their service just to get more concrete info on them?  If anyone decided to "take one for the team" and try to sign up for this service, are there protections they can take to, say, limit any kind of damage or fallout from the service?  I'm sorely tempted to sign up just to nail these f**kers.

Phone scam prompts for 1 to talk to an agent or 9 to be removed and neither selection works.  Getting 1 or more calls per day from them regarding 'vehicle warranty' BS.

They also called using caller ID of 13075327302 listed to Fuss R&J.  Same scam call with the "second notice your vehicle's factory warranty" blah, blah, hit 1 to talk to someone, 9 to be removed from our list.  My # is on national DNC.  I file a complaint w/ www.donotcall.gov on each call.

scam call starting with "this is the second notice your vehicle's factory warranty may be expried...". It has targeted my VOIP (via Vonage) line for a while. how can I get them to stop? the same call came from various numbers.

Yet another attempt to sell me an extended warranty, despite the fact that I do not even own a car. The same message also comes from 603-214-3567. Is there any way to block them.

Got a call from this one also.  Tried calling him back but got recorded message that the call cannot be completed as dialed or the number has been disconnected.  Would love to file a complaint with the phone company.  I get about 10 calls a week trying to sell me an extended warranty on my 7 year old automobile.  Ridiculous.
