It sounds like you have a business phone situation here. Telephone numbers used for business purposes, which I expect includes your professional office, are NOT ELIGIBLE for the Do Not Call list.
(And even if it was eligible, the DNC Law only forbids *sales* calls; no-message calls don't qualify because, obviously, they didn't attempt the sale of any goods or services.)

This is a professional office and we have been on the Do Not Call List since it started. This company calls five to six times a day, does not leave message....it is extremely annoying.

I live in Seattle. What would you suggest I do to them when I find them. How about tie them up together in an echo chamber and blast a telephone ring constantly for days? After two weeks with no sleep, they would be complete basket cases whenever the phone rings. I don't think a jury could be convened that would have any sympathy for them.

The do not call registry spelled backward is "lip service".

This call came through on my phone August 28th and they did not leave a voice mail.  

Note: In the Caller Company field, I am typing what appeared as the caller's name on my caller ID box.  I am not typing random letters and numbers.

They called this morning and ask to speak to my husband. They wanted to talk to him about his Golf magazine. I tol this person he does not play golf. She say ok and hung up.

Get calls daily from Global Services at 458-201-0364. A recording starts and sounds like a person talking but it's really a recording from "John". Report the number and block it if you can. They call twice a day every day and only play the recording if a person answers.

Am I the only one whomgets calls even though I'm on the 'no call list', and have been for a long time. Seems that if NSA can peek on any/every body, why can't they do some good and toast these scam swine.?

I answered this call re a subscription to the Readers Digest and asked for the name of the company calling me and the name of person to whom I was speaking. A female voice answered that she was Dominic and the name of the company is Global Readers. As soon as I asked that info she wished me a good day and hung up. Time to report them b/c this is the 2nd phone they have used to call re the Readers Digest. Funny thing is that I already subscribe to the magazine.

My theory is that these guys are simply compiling a database of when people are home, and who will answer calls. That information would be valuable to other solicitors/telemarketers. If I'm right, the best way to deal with these calls is to ignore them, i.e., don't even answer. That way they have no idea whether you're home, and whether you will answer other calls from unknown callers. I may eventually put this number on my blocked callers list, which is one of the nice features I seem to get with Xfinity phone service. But I'm not sure yet if that's the right move. If the calls were really annoying me, that's what I'd do. But right now I'm taking pleasure in just providing them no data.

RDS, may or may not be Readers Digest Service but I canceled my subscription anyway, they have turned into a rag over the last 30 or so years.

My friend asked me to look up this number.  Seems they constantly call her.  She doesn't answer it.  But she is a Senior citizen and they call her at the most inconvenient times-- mostly ALL THE TIME.  It is very bothersome.  Seems it is an invalid number-- if it his how can they call from it.  I'm sure it is a telemarketer and she wishes they would get out of her life.

I am on the do not call list but continue to receive calls from gbl svc.

I Receive calls from this number every day, sometimes more than once a day. I see it on my caller ID. I don't answer. They never leave a message.  I assume they are telemarketers. It is so annoying. If they would leave a message, then I might consider talking to them when they call again.

I just got a call from this number and since they keep calling I answered the phone.  They addressed me by name and said they were Readers Digest and asked if I was happy with my subscription.  Then they announced that the price of the subscription was going up to $5 a copy but since I am a preferred customer my price would be less.  At that point I just said "thank you for the information and I will cancel my subscription".  There was then silence on the other end and I quickly hung up.

They'll never call me again; i just added this number to the blocked list!

This number called me just a few minutes ago. The name on the caller I.D. was GBL SVC. I answered the phone and said hello. No one answered and then I could hear a woman talking to someone in the background but I couldn't quite make out what was being said; It was as if she had put her hand over the phone to prevent me from hearing what she was saying. I said hello a couple more times and then there was nothing but silence then the call disconnected. I called the number back to find out who they were and what they wanted and I got a strange automated message quoting some legal statute about their requirement to offer a call list opt out request or some such thing. It read their phone number to me and asked me if this was the number that called me and directed me to press '1' if this was correct. It then asked me to enter my phone number and read it back to me and asked me again to press '1' if this was correct. Then it said my number would be removed from their call list within 72 hours and it hung up on me.

Called and caller Id indicated it was from  V73121333700161  and listed 458-201-0364 as the number.  They said they were calling from Readers Digest magazine and were calling because they had sent a notice that the subscription was going up July 1, but they had reviewed the record and were giving me a break.  When I said Readers Digest doesn't solicit they said they wanted to give me the lower price and another magazine.  I told them I didn't have time right now!!

Received a call around 1pm CDT today...called ID shows GBL SVC no message left...would try to call back and listen for opt out but don't want my number registered...do have another number I can use just to try if I wanted to...hope there's no more calls...

I'm the type that will call them and tell them to f*** off!
