I don't owe them any money.  Mortgage is in great shape.  They frequently contact me to offer refinancing at better rates.

They "say" they are from city financial mortgage, note the spelling on caller id "CITY FIN MRTG" This is NOT CITIMortgage...  It is a scam.  They are not bill collectors, they are not the real CITI.  Ignore the call and go on with your life :(

I hope you can find some free help somewhere to help you fight them.  If they are returning your mortgage payments, then they have no interest in helping you in any way, only in hurting you.  I am so sorry.

In no way was it a legitimate call when they called me.

If they don't solicit, then what the h**l are they doing calling me?  I don't do any business with them.  I am not in danger of foreclosure nor do I have any debt problems.  So glad I didn't pick up when I saw an unknown number.

This is Citi Bank.  You probably have a home loan with them.  They are not selling anything but verifying information.

I started the loan process with CitiBank And received a call from this number.

Apparently my new company (relocation division) gave my number and email address to Citi, and now they are calling me trying to get my business for a new home loan.  I guess they didn't get the message that I'm renting an apartment...

This is Citibank Refinance about my status. Legitimate.

Caller said her name was Julia, calling regarding my recently closed/denied application for refi from Citibank. She asked me to call her back at this number but it's a scam, I think. This number leads to a directory that requires the first 3 letters of the person's last name, which she didn't leave, of course. Her question about my
loan felt bogus.

The number id from Citimortgage. This is the number that called when I was refinancing my home. Do you have business with them. Did you ask for info on a refi or mortgage?

It is Citibank refinance.

This is Citibank. Im working on a loan with them for a few days and they called from this number.

Received 1 call. Caller was a male and identified themselves as Citibank. Caller said I had taken out a loan and that they had not received payment. I asked them if they thought they had the wrong number and they asked me if I was "***** *********" Which was my dad but he uses another number. I told them they were off and gave them the correct number to  call. Caller then asked me If I received phone calls like this often and i said "No not really". Caller then apologized and hung up. I called my dad and asked him if he received any phone calls and he said no.

This is NOT a legitimate call. I've never had anything to do with 'citi' whatever, am based in Canada, and got a random call from this number with no reason whatsoever. It's garbage, ignore the number and the idiots/scammers in this thread who tell you otherwise.

Got a call from this number, did not answer it.  The voice mail turned out to be from Citibank Mortgage, responding to a legitimate inquiry I made online.  The return phone number was 877-862-5075.

got a call from this number on my personal cell. Male voice asked for someone who was not me. They apologized for calling the wrong number.

I also received a call...it's legitimate...I filled out an online request for refi info with Citimortgage.  They called at 10:30am and left an appropriate v-mail with a call back number.  No issues here.

This was a legitimate call.  I am in the process of refinancing.

I've received calls from this number three times. There is an immediate hangup when I pick up.

I do not think you should give this company any information, I do not think them to be who they say.  They seem to after personal information and very unprofessional.

They identified themselves as Citibank, but I think it is a scam, they are asking for complete social-security numbers.  They called me and then refused to talk to me because I would not give them the account number and social number.  Most of Citibank's affiliates have changed their names.

My husband died recently, he used up all the money prior for over a year, didn't have a life insurance policy, so I have been doing everything I can for over a year with Citi. Now I filed bankruptcy and they can have it. My solution was to low my interest rate, they laughed at me. Said that would never happen, so they couuld have it. Not everyone is irresponsible. Government isn"t helping the American people much either.

I don't have a mortage with CitiMortgage so they have no reason to call me!

Received a call from this number two days ins row,but they did not leave a message yesterday. Tried to call back but you need the name of the person to connect to a person. Today I answered on the second ring and they hung up.
