Keep getting these automated messages from this HP Locate. It was a woman's voice on loop. They identified the call as a message from an investigative firm, "Said my phone number had been linked to a case they were currently working on" , and if I did not want to receive further calls to press 1 now. I did not answer my phone so it left a message on my voicemail, in a loop format. However, the number came up as the 800-331-1438.

We are getting the same and have no idea who they are.

The federal do not call list is a joke.  I have reported a lot of numbers several times and nothing ever happens to them.  Reporting them is just a waste of time as our government is really not interested in helping get rid of these calls

I live close, I am going over there with my friend who is a REAL private eye and talk to them.

Just got a message from thsi number could not write down the case number quick enough yet he asked for a family memeber gave the right name and age , however this person has been dead for 4 years. He even told me she was linked with this number he had called on. Problem with that this number didn't exsit (with us) until after her death. Real fishy any clue who this company might be ?

just got a call from there as well asking the same thing about private investigation.  Sounded fishy.

Stop calling me.  I don't call back automated recordings.  Especially those regarding so called "investigations".  If you really knew who I was, you'd already have the most efficient way of contacting me.

Heritage Pacific Financial is a mortgage company.  If you compare the top of the hplocate.com and heritagepacificfinancial.com websites, you will see they are similar.  Both site's have the following in the home page source code, "This page was created with RapidWeaver from Realmac Software. http://www.realmacsoftware.com".  Although circumstantial, it appears that the websites were developed by the same people.

Recording of woman stating it is HP locate with case number...., do not call out, do not do something else, must cooperate...could not get actual case number as I was inquiring of house members if they knew anything about some investigation.  Recording repeated once more then hung up.  I'd actually been on the phone with someone when this call butted in and there were other things going on so I was a bit distracted.

Ditto from all the above. Called the 888# - take my phone off your list. I'm pretty sure you know there is no one here by that name. So stop....

This lady frist called stating that she wants to speak with someone else and they need to call her asap because she had some very impportant information they needed to recieve and I asked what type of information she never could give me the nature of the call.  Then I hung up the phone and recieved a call from an 8883311437 number regarding the same thing.  I asked them not to call my phone any more and that this was not of any thing of good cause.  Please find you something else to do.

Got this call, didn't answer, don't have voice mail. Something interesting I noticed was that while it was ringing it said "Forwarded Call".

Looks like people are saying it's from HP Locate, someone who has called me before, but with a different number.

the first time they called my number asking for information on a person who doesn't live here and that was near the end of last week. today they called and left a message asking for information to help their investigation. Both calls were from HP in Allen, TX

Months ago I was harrassed by these calls and I also removed my number, so I thought, from the calling lists.  But here we go again, another number different from the first one calling and harrassing me again! Is there anyway to report them? So over it!!!

I keep getting calls from this number for an Andrea Smith and she does not have this number, I want my number taken off your list

I got this call and wrote down the info they gave and then hung up. I don't talk to machines that call a number I only give out as an emergency contact. I looked up all the info they provided and it did not match up.
   1)The phone number is registered to these clowns in Allen, TX.
   2)The name they gave was Homeward Residential which is a mortgage agency; I am a renter.
   3)I went to the government website that issues and tracks PI license numbers and the number WAS registered to

I received a call from this number 469-342-0168 and I could write down the case# quick enough and the rest of the message said something about a private investigation.  I called it back.  A guy answered telling me that my phone number is connected to a Jessica Burkley.  I informed the man that I do not know her.  How can I get answers about this?

Same b***s*** again "your number may or may not be linked to a case ..." (male voice, robocall)

Got a recorded message (male voice) saying "your number may be linked to a case we are working on for a client" blah blah. I looked on my phone and it was from this number.

Did some research and found that this company is called HP Locate, this is their Company Overview:
HP Locate is a private investigation company (license #A17155) contracted by our clients to assist in locating and contacting their customers on their behalf so that the client is able to deliver important, personal information to the customer.  They have 2 phone numbers: 469-342-0168 and 469-342-0169.

First time a call came in from this number; but, not the first time for a caller to identify HP Locate.  I don't answer.  The message left doesn't even identify my phone number.  It's weird.

got similar message on machine for first time today. they want you to call back so they know they have reached someone. do not do it.  1888-331-1437 is number they tell you to call, but the call originated from 718-839-6416.

they are also using 469-342-0107 who the hell are they and what can you do

Got a call today from them talking about how my phone line may or may not be correctly linked with something he's investigating. Said not to make any more phone calls before we call them back.
