Just got call - fax trying to dial me.  We don't have a fax machine so I am sure it is telemarketing or scam.  Thought this was illegal if we are on a do not call list??

Just called me and hung up when I answered.  You could hear a bunch of people talking in the background; sounded like a telemarketer boiler room.

my phone rang and when I answered they just sat there-kinda irritating at 8:00 a.m.!!!

This number showed on my CID and I answered. It was a telemarketer attempting to 'confirm' my personal information. He did call me by the wrong name and I did not correct him beacuse I knew that he was trying to gain information.

He then proceeded to claim that I was 'qualified' or 'chosen' for an immediate deposit into my personal bank account and he needed my bank information.

I asked for his company name and phone number and he got all jumbled. He gave me two different company names (neither of which I could understand)and told me that the customer care phone number would be provided to me in the verification process.

I told him that I wasn't stupid and not going to give out any information.



I have been researching this number to attempt to find out who it belongs to. I heard that it is AIC Phoenix but I am unable to confirm that 100%.

AIC Phoenix does third party cold calls and telemarketing. AIC Phoenix will try to push all the blame on the client that hired them to make the calls. NOT GOING TO WORK! KNOWINGLY GATHERING INFORMATION FOR FRAUDULANT PURPOSES IS HIGHLY ILLEGAL. ANYONE WITH ENOUGH INTEL TO GAIN EMPLOYMENT SHOULD EASILY RECOGNIZE WHEN THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW. THE COMPANY WILL BE FINED (CLOSED) AND ALL EMPLOYEES WHO WORKED ON THAT PROGRAM WILL BE HELD PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR WIRE FRAUD.

I recently got a phone call from this number  and guy telling me that he was part of the social security adminstration, and they had a drawling and i had won a 1,000 dollars and when i asked do i need to give personal information  he said all he needed was  my bank account number. I knew right there and then that it was a scam!   would of been nice to have a 1,000 dollars haha well i hope these people get caught! for everyones sake.

Caller left automated voice mail.....it said it was AAA Arizona asking me to renew my membership.

Guy with a thick Indian accent called, said his name was Manuel, said we advertised with his site (e-listings or something, never heard of them), kept wanting my name so he could talk to me about 'search engine optimization'

Wanted me to talk to his supervisor since I couldn't understand most of what he said.  I declined.

Absolutely a scam.

Got a call saying that our company was chosen for a scratch ticket and won the biggest prize they have offered yet.  She wanted to confirm our personal information.  I told her we weren't interested in receiving anything, she just hung up.
