I agree that this is likely a trunk number out of ASU...in my case:  I received a call from 480-965-8300 and the person was "taking a survey" about what I like watching on Chanel 8 - the local PBS station.  Ultimately this was a soliticitation for donation to the station.

I work at the bookstore. All our phone numbers come up with the actual extension to the phone, not the generic one.

It's ASU looking for $$ for sure.. they call at least a couple times a month.. As if I don't pay them enough for 2 kids to go to school there and live in the dorms

I too keep getting called, never leaves message. once I answered it and they want info on a play I saw at Gammage. I asked them to take me off their list, the calls never stop.

Called me 845 pm az time wanting feedback on a musical I purchased tix for.  I declined and was extremely annoyed as the call woke up my babies and was well after appropriate hours.

Received a call-no message.  Checked on google search for this number.  It appeared from the posts that this was not a personal or legitimate call.  I called the number from my home phone and heard a message that this was the number from a university that was the number to which all outgoing calls were traced.

They are calling for my Wife and she does not want to talk to them. We have told them not to call and they keep calling. I want them to STOP!

Keep getting this call, I never answer, they never leave a message.  It comes several times a day.  I have absolutely nothing to do with ASU and never have been a student there.

I don't know anyone there, don't/never went to school there - don't know why they would call.

Whenever that number calls me, its my boyfriend calling from work at the student services center at ASU.

This is def. a generic # from any of the ASU campuses.  I've gotten many calls through the years from this number.

This time it was for YES ON PROP 100 and they did leave a voicemail.

They are calling from Arizona State University because they are short on funds (money) and they want you to give them some.  Very annoying and disgraceful to say the least.  I'm ashamed to be associated with this kind of a university and association.

I called the # back & it is the "Main Phone for Arizona Stste University".  I know of no reason for them to call me.

Keep getting calls from this number. No one says anything when I answer and when I call back to that number I don't even get a ring. No idea what this is.

Generic number from Arizona State University. In my case, it's the Alumni Association at Arizona State University. I graduated from A.S.U. but never joined the alumni association, have never participated in any activities, and have an unlisted home number. These people have called no less than 100 times in the past two months. I have told them repeatedly to stop calling, but we get 4 or 5 calls a day from them. Enough!!

this call is from ASU admissions at the polytechnic campus (east mesa) not necessarily the bookstore. they called me today to discuss residency.

This number called - 8/10/08 at 6:07 pm -one ring and hung up.

Came to work this AM and saw that I had missed a call. The call was yesterday evening at 7:21 PM MT. No message was left.

Every outgoing call from a landline in the ASU system is trunked on to this number... offices, dorm rooms, courtesy phones, etc. And AFAIK every 965- and a lot of 727- and 884- numbers are assigned, so that's >10,000 phones. Really no way to say who's calling.

They called me for a few months while I was in school. Finally I answered because I wanted to know who would be calling me from a school number. It was a student organization that wanted me to take a survey. Now they are calling again. So annoying!

It is the ASU Bookstore probably calling to tell you something you ordered has arrived.
