I got this call as well. They said they were from "Rent.com" calling about my apt inquiry, and some contest they were holding.

Got a call at work from this number... its an automated call from rent.com about some contest. Nothing malicious, just annoying.

When did 500#s start? What it is: rent.com has your info so you can search for apts. The reward is $100 if you rent an apartment and tell them you saw it on their website. I started looking for an apartment 6 weeks ago, made a few inquires and heard nothing back from any of the property managers. So I went on Craigslist and found something.

Annoying, constant phone calls, all hours of the day and night from rent.com. And then when you ignore the number, they call you from an "Unlisted" number.

This number is from rent.com....I called them a couple of months ago because I am looking to relocate to Las Vegas....they were calling to confirm that I will be there this week...this is the only call I received...they have not annoyed me.

July 28,2010 - This # is (now) being used by Enterprise Fleet Management. It would appear an organization we belong to sold/gave them member phone numbers to "offer" us savings on our fleet services. Not a random call but it's still solicitation if you would rather not pick it up.
