Message is Dennis Rainey & Family life when you call the number back. Dennis is the president of Family Life.

this number calls me several times a day.  I just hang it right back up to shut it up.  Over and over they call.  REALLY sick of it.  Caller ID simply says Little Rock, AR

called it back and pushed 1 - We'll see... (btw, my wife is subscribed to family life - so it is interesting that she would get a call from a bogus (if it is) number/company)

Receiving daily calls from this number.  I always answer and no one talks.  I called Family Life to check into this number per other peoples notes.  Family Life said that they are getting a lot of inqueries, but do not know if it is their system.  They would normally talk to the person answering and not just keep silent or hang up.  I would not advise calling back and pressing 1 since you may be agreeing to a charge on your phone.  If you have done this, please check your phone statement for any unauthorized charges.

All I am saying is that I don't think they are who they say they are and I would be careful if I were you.  I would get them to stop calling if I could.  I am glad that you had better fortune with them.  I hope you have the most wonderful Holiday Season.  Take care and thank you for sharing!

They call me twice a day. I have nothing to do with them and yet when I call the number back, they are telling me that it is a wrong number and no longer exists.  I checked the number 3 times. Called the correct number and they are not who they say they are.  I am on a no call list for all phones and I don't deal with them and they need to leave all of us all alone.

Received a call from the same # on Dec 15 2010. Caller I'd said Little Rock, AK. I didn't answer & no message was left.

Thank you for that advice.  It did work beautifully.  I subscribe to these folks, but whenever they call and I do answer the phone, they hang up.  That bothered me.

this is not a familylife number. go to their web-site and check it out for yourself. I called them and told them I was contacted by someone representing familylife pressuring me to donate money w/a credit card in order to receive a cd on communication. I call familylife and asked them about it and they said they did not use that number and didn't recognize it but would check into it to see what was going on. its easy to make judgement calls when we don't have all the information we need.

I was getting calls almost daily from this number. When I answered nobody would say anything. Sometimes I could hear voices in the background. I called it back and listened to the message...pressed 1 when they told me to...now we will see if it works

501-588-1986 is FamilyLife, http://www.familylife.com ... they are a non-profit that offeres christian marriage and family conferences.  My wife and I attended one a few years back and they called me this evening.  Simply dial the number back from the phone they called, wait for the message and press 1 to be removed from their call list. Piece of cake :-)
