My cell phone was called, like everyone else here.  

Wondering how my cell phone number has gotten out, and it's clear that Verizon-my cell phone company-is somehow giving out OUR numbers.

when i call the number back it is busy.

called me while i was at Banes and Noble but i didn't pick it up in time. when i tried to redial it was busy.
i was in Kingston NY at the time.

The 503-396-6573 number called me as well. I got the same response when I called back a busy signal. I don't normally answer calls from numbers I don't know so I didn't answer but it is annoying to get bs calls like that ugh who is this??????........

I just got this call just now basically, but I didn't bother picking up or calling back. You shouldn't if they don't even bother leaving a voicemail, why waste the time.

Just got a call from this number. I didn't answer and they left no voice mail. It says that the area code is from Oregon. I don't know anyone from there!

Horn Blows this is a fishy call trying to get # that answer so they can sell them to marketers this is crazy and the gov does nothing about them hang up right away and dont call back

Think outside the box people!  The phone number that called you and this very website are owned by the same person.  There is no scam or telemarketing involved. The computer calls 10,000 random people and 3,000 of those recipients end up typing the number into Google.  When they get to this website they are greeted by a handful of advertisements and the occasional hyperlink.  You have all done exactly what the phone call was trying to get you to do. Although annoying its pretty genius..I'm off to Radio Shack!

You guys are all idiots! Why are you so concerned that someone has called you and hung up? Unless you?re in the Witness Protection program you probably have nothing to worry about. I thought i might have missed a call from an old friend and when I Goggled the number i came across all you morons. Just answer it or ignore it don't take technology so personal.
