I used to work for this company. It was a very short time I was employed as I do not like doing outbound sales. I am more customer service oriented. I know they buy their numbers from marketing lists. They cylce those numbers hundreds of times. They were a legit company however very bothersome with repeated contact attempts. However the company from my understanding has gotten shut down for reasons unknown.

As of today this number has called my phone (and NOT left a message on my machine) about six times.  I've tried to call the number to tell them to remove me from their call list and all I get is a voice mail system.  I am supposed to be on a "Do not call list."   WTF?

These people are relentless.  I just moved into my home about 2 weeks ago.  As soon as my phone was hooked up, I started receiving phone calls from VIP 500 at least twice a day, everyday.  I have not answered the phone at all when their number pops up, but it sure doesn't stop them from trying over and over and over again.  A couple times after the VIP 500 call comes in...approximately 2 min after, I get a call from this number as well...503 902 8294.  My caller ID says Woodburn Oregon, and I am assuming it is the same company.

And that is a link to their BBB page.

Here is the best info:  Ms. Collette Wright (Customer service/complaint resolution department) - 503-412-6996 xt 5418.  Call her and give her an ear full.  I have and will continue to do so until these calls stop.

this is not a scam. people enter into winning a car at the mall. home shows. fairs. ect...you might not have entered to win a security system but your name got drawn for one. maybe someone could have filled the slip out for you but they are hand written entry forms. even if its not what u wanted its an invaluable service that they provide because people actually NEED security. maybe if you took a second to listen to what they have to say you wont have to jump to conclusions i promise!

I got 2 calls from this number but wasn't rude.  She said I qualified for a free system with free installation.  The lady knew my husband and I by name and she called only 4 days after we got ours  up.  They wanted to know where and what hours my husband worked and if I already had a security system. I asked, from where and she said Oregon, again she started to tell me more, I asked ?what's the phone mumber ? She said 18888471502 and  was pleasant, personable and talking about how they were going to be in my area for 3 days to introduce their home system free and as low as $1 a day monitoring. (It?s too much and  are the least bothersome of all the annoying telemarketers. Its not a scam and they dont access any of your information online) She said the next thing to do is set up an appointment for discussion with the person who would explain it all to me.  I scheduled an appointment.  So, I'll see what the Quality Control officer has to say when he calls the day before the appointment.

Once upon a time I got no SPAMmers calling my phone.
Then on one very dark and dreary day I used my phone to validate my Facebook account. Not published on my page mind you (which was deactivated 2 years ago). It was supposed to be private information for validation only.
I've been continually harassed ever since.
Some things that have helped.
Talk to them and schedule an appointment for your neighbor (the one you don't like).
Selective call blocking.
Texting horribly profane messages to their number.

We just moved in a week and a half ago and just now plugged in my phone to the jack. First phone call in my new home that i decided to answer and it was this 5036882900 number. The guy "Jeff" was pleasant, personable and talking about how they were going to be in my area for 3 days to introduce their home security system. yadda yadda, system was free and as low as $1 a day monitoring and plus ooooh, if i show them the appointment note i scribble down, i"ll get a free gift worth $165 if i sign up. AHe also asked a few personal questions which i answered. Wasnt a big deal since you can find that info on my Facebook page lol. Anyway, I figured what the heck, make an appointment, hear them out...supposedly it only will take 20 minutes. He did ask if both my husband and I would be present for the appointment. I said "yes" since it would be early Saturday morning. I mentioned it to my husband later and apparently he wont be available for it.  And then I googled VIP 750 hoping for a website to find out more about them, except this page is what popped up instead LOL.  I checked my call log also and they had been calling 2-3 times a day for the last week. So....i'll keep you guys  posted :)

I received a call from them, but as she asked me a question, I asked one back.  Yup, I too won a free security system, I asked how and she said I or some friend must have put our name in a contest.  She started to tell me how someone would come over, I asked "what address do you have for me" she told me and then strarted to continue her speech, I asked where are you calling from, she said VIP750, she started to tell me more, I asked, from where and she said Oregon, again she started to tell me more, I asked what's the phone mumber she said 18888471502 Ext 5422 she started to tell me more about the system and I said I'm not interested, put me on your NO CALL LIST.

This company is a typical sales platform. Untrained salespeople working over the phone have created a stigma. That of the young, angry and pushy person spoken of in previous statements. The turnover rate is tremendous making it impossible to maintain a professional face for the company. Another problem this presents is dirty sales tactics.  SO YES sometimes rude sometimes stupid they are not the a true representation of whole. I wouldn't judge any group of people based on the standards of there weakest members. These "weak," employees have very short lived careers.

They called my cell during the day  - couldn't tell me where they had gotten my number, where or what I had signed up for to get a securtity system, and I told them I wasn't interested and that I already had a security system.  They called again at 9:45 PM, trying to sell me one and I told that guy that I had talked to someone earlier in the day and that I had a system and was NOT interested and don't call again.

I got asked the same questions and it really irritated me.  They wanted to know where and what hours my husband worked and if I already had a security system.  Yeah, like I'm going to tell a complete stranger that my house is "unsecure" and I'm home alone.  Looks like they've been bugging people for over a year now.  How do they get away with it!?!

It is now Oct, 2011...same thing happened to me as far as phone being new.  The lady knew my husband and I by name and she called only 4 days after we got ourphone hooked up.  "Informer" keeps posting that the contest slips are real, but that can't be true because like I said, we had just gotten that number so how she already had it and our names is a little sketchy to me!

I got 2 calls from this number and the lady was but wasn't rude at the same time.  She said I qualified for a free system with free installation, etc, etc...  made me uncomfortable because she kept asking personal question about when I would and wouldn't be home.  She wanted to know stuff that was none of her buiness and would NOT take no for answer.  Also, I asked for her name and number to call her back and she refused to give me either one.  Hmmm...that's sketchy!

it sucks being a telemarketer. all they do ( management) is try to fill your head with dumb a** dreams, tell you how lucky you are to have this BIG OPPORTUNITY to make SO MUCH $$$$$....what a line of crap. maybe if the government hadn't ruined the economy, people wouldn't have to endure these calls, and other poor people would not have to make them. if you ask me every body loses.

I just got a call on a brand new phone line.  The caller said that he had tried to call me earlier, but the call didn't go through.  When I asked how he got my number, he said he didn't know, but my phone had been hooked up for less than five minutes.  When he asked how long I had lived in my house I told him I did not like how this was going and hung up.

My wife received a call from VIP750. Different sales pitch to what people have posted above. This time they said they would give us an alarm system at no cost as long as we put their sign up in our yard as they wanted to advertise in our area as they didn't have any business in this area yet. They wanted to send some-one out the very next day to meet with her and discuss it. My wife was interested but put them off till the following Sat morning when I was available to meet too.
The guy  came out and gave us the sales pitch about monitronics alarm systems. Pointed out many law enforcement people use monitonics etc etc. They are probably a good enough alarm system, but a couple of concerns came up for me :
1) He took it as a given that we were going to "fill in paperwork" at the end of his presentation, to "reserve a system" at the special price. We could of course choose to back out of it with no commitment before the installation date - or so he said ! I told him firmly that we would not be filling in any paperwork today because I hadn't done any research on alarm systems yet and I do not make spur of the moment decisions following sales pitches in my home !  He accepted that and didn't push that any further but said he'd call back in a week to see had we reached a decision. He also got his cell phone out and called his supervisor right then and there to explain that plan, which sort of makes me think there's some high pressure sales tactics going on somewhere.
2) He did not have any brochures etc to give us at all. You would think he would have a flier or something to give us. I told him I needed some information to study to help me make a decision. So he gave me a couple of sheets of information and asked that I photocopy them and give them back to him since they were his only copies
3) When I did copy the sheets, then he wanted a scissors and started cutting out the price information on the sheet, just leaving the "special" price at the bottom but cutting out all the regular prices. I asked him why was he doing that ? He said because the pricing information was sensitive and the company didn't want it leaking out. I said that he was taking away my data for making an informed decision. How could I decide whether to act by the end of August to make the special deal if I did not know what the full price would be and what I might be saving? So he said OK then, he'd give me the full unmutilated sheet of information. I thought this was very weird indeed, seemed like he was "hiding" something and all this did was make me suspicious.
4) the guy came in a decidely beat up old car, and while I suppose I shouldn't totally judge him for that, it just gives a poor first impression. He didn't even have a business card to give me.  His name was Fred Harmon, just FYI in case anyone else runs into him. He was polite and not pushy, but I got the sense he was following some "program" with the expected outcome that we would sign up because of that fact that he had come out for a consultation.

Sure enough he called me back a week later but I told him I haven't had time to do any research and am not in a position to make any decisions at this time. He said he would call back again in mid September, and I said please don't, I'll call you if I decide I want an alarm. So we will see if we start getting telemarketing calls again from them. If we do, I will point out to them that we are on the do not call list and they should not be calling us anyway.
