i used to work for hbw leads, the "leads" or contact info the telemarketers get through that company are all automated. its a system. most of the numbers called on the auto dialer are from years ago, most people have been deceased for years, or been bombarded multiple times. the reason you wont get off their list, is because they dont care. the job is about getting more leads, and just getting your information. if you cant handle it, do what most do and cuss them out or change your number! best of luck.

Each and everyone of you ignorant dirt bags that are talking bad about hbw leads must be off your meds. i happen to work there and i get over 100 leads per week. i never falsify a lead and the only person who ever has done that since i've worked there has been fired for it. The truth of the matter is that there are still a ton of people without computers, and they can't just get on the internet for a quote. You all need to do your home work before you start running your mouth about things you know nothing about!

I had people who told they would falseify the lead to get quota when I was there. I had josh in an orientation tell us we were to never use the do not call button under any circumstances. Which is illegal cause when some one says do not call me then they are to be put on the list

Even if you did have the mental capacity necessary to use and auto-dialer and record messages, it would be illegal. Also, way to throw in a racist comment at the end, jerk. I called the number back and there was an option to remove yourself from the list (press 3). You can also submit a complaint to the do not call registry site or the fcc.

I was in that building today for the first time in months at the Employment office downstairs using their computers and walked down the street to get my walker breaks fixed.  I have been laid off for lack of sales since 8/20/2012.  Ran into my old boss. Saw three employees walking down the street that are still there that I remember from my 11 months there. They probably are cheating. They would have to be to get that number of sales when almost everyone is on the National No Call list. I have read the complaints all on here and other sites.  Logically it is not Rocket Science that a person cannot get 45 leads a week calling fax numbers, the poor and elderly,  skype numbers, google and yahoo numbers, elevators, pay phone and stuff that will not be talking to a REAL person. Everyone will be on the No Call list it is just a matter of time and they will have to close up shop. That is a fact. There is no way to get the number of sales that HBW leads wants without cheating and forcing the lead down the peoples throat. They would also have to be calling back people that really do not want to be called about car insurance. I just do not see how people that work there can still be employed with that high number of leads that they require. Again it is not Rocket Science everyone will be on this No Call list-it is just a matter of time.

This company does a lot of illegal stuff. I've had the trainers tell me that they use the same zip codes if its different than what it suppose to be especially if there isn't an agent for that zip code. Which means they falsify the lead when they terminated me for me not having my leads up it took them over a week to get me my check which they were to put it in the mail. They have 24 hours in Oregon to get it to you. If you don't show up they are to mail it. Period end of story. I'm sure they didn't like being turned in to BOLI. They lose a lot of good people based on their BS.  The more problems you have were you are in trouble with the law they are more likely to keep you cause you don't wanna  make your situation worse

I worked for this company bwtween 2011 and 2012 for 11 months. They require 45 leads a week and the people that were making this high quota were cheating and making people take the leads and yelling and doing everything they could to get them. I was glad they let me go because I could not take that any more. They would not train us to get more leads. It is not Rocket Science once every one is on the no call list they will have no one else to call but computers. pay phones. skype phones and faxes and you cannot get any leads if any if there is no one to talk to. I do not need to work any more and came into some money. Telemarketing is a thing of the past because of the National No Call list and it is not Rocket Science. There is no way it can be legal. They do not leave people alone at HBW leads and it will be the death of them.

This company will put your information in their dialer when you even apply there. If you say please remove my number off your call list they will just remove it temporarily. The number will be put back into the call list within 3 to 6 month  to bug you again. You have to specifically say put me on your do not call list. The upper manafent tells the employees to never use the do not call button. Although its illegal for this company to keep some one on the list when they want off.  They have a high turn over rate with employees cause they only care how much money they can make. If some ones isn't get lots of people wanting a quote then the employee gets fired for that reason only its a piece of s*** of a place to work for as well

One other point to for people to know is that the unions encouraged their members to vote for NAFTA. So tell me who do you think the unions are really working for? Not for the American People/tax payers. NAFTA has taken many jobs away from America, but I have to say that greedy business owners who are more greedy than patriotic also, sold out their own country. It really comes down to doing the right thing. What kind of a legacy, as a generation, are we handing down to our children, and their children. How did we leave things as we found them, better in some ways, yes, but also shameful in others. NAFTA was one of the more shameful things, I feel, as a country. There are other ways we can help other countries, and it's not by selling our souls.

I got a call from an HBW telemarketer from the number 817-717-1947, offering the the quote spiel.  I politely told him we are happy with our current insurance and he just hung up on me!  Are you kidding?  You interrupt my evening and don't have the courtesy to extend a polite business-like closing?  I redialled and asked to be put on the "do not call" list and complained-- yeah, long message from me.  Next, I contacted AllState corporate and let them know whatbhappened with this HBW rep.  The shmuck's conduct was disrespectful to a consumer and damaging to Allstate's reputation.  I don't even have Allstate.  Allstate's corporate is contacting HBW'S corporate.

Am I the only person that bothers to actually research the companies that call me and hang up?  I really wish other people would take 2 minutes out of their day to do a bit of research.  For HBW Leads, I could tell you the owners name and the names of his 100+ closest friends.  He's got yellow teeth and is racist with a gun fetish.  His wife his sort of attractive in a redneck sort of way.  His baby is cute.  Want to know about the rest of the mangement team there?  They invented a little thing called "Google".  Use it to contact the owner and managers and let them know you don't appreciate the calls.

I get auto phone messages from this company every day that are EXTREMELY annoying!!!  One can't even call back this phone number they provide to remove yourself from their call list as it is a WRONG NUMBER!!!  I've even gone to the extent of completing the DO NOT CALL process and this is the only call that gets through!!!  I think such tactics by HP LEEDS or whoever they are should receive punitive fines for their incessant nuisance to those who DON'T WANT TO HEAR FROM THEM EVER AGAIN MUCH LESS BUY THEIR INSURANCE!!!!!!!!'

The reason that you are getting calls is that you looked into getting insurance online. You had to have submitted your number somewhere.

Also receiving a multitude of calls from 503-877-3590 on a daily and weekly basis.  Have called them back numerous times requesting that they discontinue calling, but they don't.  How to report this company as being non-compliant with the Federal do-not-call registry?  This is harrassment!

I have spoken to American homes on my home phone. I have told them i am not interested. I have asked them to remove my number from their call list. They still call my home every day. I have called this number to request them not to call my home and all i get is a recording that this persons mailbox is full and can not accept any messages. I will do what ever i have to in order to stop these calls.

Just because they have your number doesn't mean Verizon sold it. In fact, it doesn't mean anyone sold it. They could have randomly dialed you, and once their system recognized that it was an active number you got dropped into their queue. Don't make up conspiracy theories about how this happened---it just happened is all.

People in this town wth a REAL unemployment rate of 45% or better need jobs and this is one of the few call centers that has not folded, outsourced or closed and pays you. There are tons of p;hone jobs in this town that does not even pay you and you go to the labor board and they cannot get your money because of a technicality. There are many people working here including me and MSI laid me off in the summer of 2009 and closed after being here for 28 years only to get people for a low minimum wage in another state. I did extensive research and 6 states do not have to pay the Federal Minimum wage. There are many like me who have 4 year degrees working here that cannot get other jobs due to so many companies and call centers closing do to these practices and outsourcing. The employment department does not help you get work and all the agencies make you be on your own in finding a job. This is the only job I could get with my 4 year Accounting degree after being out of work for 28 months. Things are bad in our city and not getting better. Without these jobs you will in your taxes or other ways be absorbing our debts and out bills. Or you will be paying our housing and food if we do not work in Section 8 and food stamp benefits for people who do not work. Think about it. We need jobs and NAAFTA has taken most jobs away from us for something we did not even do and is not our falt.

I have called this company three times and asked to be put on their "do not call" list, however I continue to receive calls from them.  I am now filing a complaint with the FCC (fcc.gov) and encourage everyone being hassled by this company to do the same.

I've been getting these tape recorded messages on my answering machine daily for an insurance quote.  Something like; HPW Leads for an insurance quote in your area.  I looked up the exchange, the area code and the last 4 number and it's some Verizon wireless number in Oregon?! that I'm to spend my money on to call them and to believe that they, whoever "they" are to do the right thing and be taken off their list.  If "they" were an ethical co. or person, they wouldn't be doing such a thing in the first place.  Doesn't the FCC and/or the Attorney General's Office handle fraud?

same issue as you all, but im really upset that im gonna call into verizon and waste a S load of theyre time for no reason since you shouldnt have to remove your number from any service because they should not have my number in the first place. so here i go to waste atleast eleven hours of verizons time with my own recordings of rambling and pauses being looped and auto dialed into Habibs Ear Hole.
