I always save scammer numbers under:  "HANG UP! Telmktr" until I run out of places (Work1, Work2, Home,Fax,Other) ..
Then I save the next one to: "HANG UP! Scam"

exactly. i got a call yesterday from this foo! i always look up 'fishy' lookkin numbers and luckily im not the only one out there receivin weird @$$ calls like this. people like that have no dam lives. but i didn't answer anyway, i figure if a call is really important that person leaves a v-mail, and my people know that. so go figure ay?

"this the second notice that the warranty on your vehicle" is about to expire.. blah blah blah! This is happening twice to 3 times a week for more than 3 months now! What a nasty nuisance! they should be caught and fined or put in jail!

I live in this town.  My daughter and friend in CO each got a call from this number.  Being from Mankato she thought it might be someone she knows but did not answer and called me instead.  When I tried to call the number locally, I got a recording that said the number has been disconnected. . .interesting!!

I think they are more sophisticated than we realize. I got a call on my cell while I was in Poland (at 1.00am CET) - and the call stopped before I answered it which it never has done before when I've been in the US. Could have been just luck, but it might have been able to recognize the increased cost......

Obviously whomever is calling is spoofing caller ID. The number wouldn't come back as disconnected if it was real.

Annoying taped message.  They have promised to remove our # from their listing but they still bug us.

I also keep getting these calls on my International ATT cell phone.  I no longer answer them.

It looks like a phone spammer they must have bought/stole your numbers from someone
the number you see is listed is most likely not the actual number they are using
its trivial to change the out-pulse number (the number that you send out to caller id).

Same thing 2 to three times a week - sometimes 2 to 3 times a day! Data call to my cellphone... I don't pick it up but it is annoying.

maybe you could mail all of your unwanted solicitations to their address with a note asking how it feels to get bombarded with a bunch of sales crap!

Okay here is how to get pay back. It requires a bit of work but the financial rewards are worth it.
#1 if John's phone number is being spoofed, he has the right to contact the local phone company which tracks and keeps records of all calls.  They will turn it over to the Federal Authorities immediately.
#2. You will have to write a 10 day demand letter to John at the Minnesota address, make sure you send 'certified', return receipt is not required, since the courts consider certified mail 'good service'.
#3. In your 10 day demand letter, cite public law 102.243 and current statue 47 U.S.C. 227 as your authority to demand payment.
#4. The above law entitles you to claim $1,500.oo per call for each violation, or recover actual monetary loss, whatever is greater.
#5. This federal law is a relatively unique statue in that it is a Federal law, but, suits brought by consumers against violators are generally heard in state courts.
#6. Under federal jurisdiction it only takes 2 people to create a class action lawsuit under the Class Action Fairness Act of 2005

I just got a call from 507-345-5596.  I was unable to answer my cell phone at the time, but when I called back it said that the number was "disconnected and no longer in service."  Pretty weird if you ask me.  I want them to stop calling...they call at my job too.

I got this call on my cell phone.  I did not pick up, but I assume that means they have random dialing program because I do not get telemarketer call on my cell.

This number has called my cellphone twice in the past 5 days.  The first time they left a message about the warranty on the vehicle that I just bought saying it was about to expire.  The second time they didn't leave a message when I ignored the call.  They have also called my home number several times but they didn't leave a message.

I have a pay as you go cell phone and no one but a few friends have the number so any call from this number is a scam of some sort.

I guess this is the downfall of having a tracfone... they must give away your number or something. even to check your messages it costs minutes. this number has called me as well

GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER, I DIDNT ANSWER IT, BUT ALSO GETTING CALLS FROM A 615 NUMBER CLAIMING TO BE VERIZON AND TRYING TO GET MY CREDIT CARD INFO, WHAT IS GOING ON
