The caller is a scamming charity called "Cancer Dream Network." They give very little money to kids with cancer; more than 98 percent of funds raised go to pay high salaries to their "executives." For every $10 raised, they give less than a dime to kids with cancer.

It's a program dialer calling you, probably, so no one is actually hanging up. What you might be hearing is a click-through to a live operator but you cut it off before the person gets on the line.

Caller ID listed number: 507-540-0416.  Message is about helping children financially who are sick.  Caller Complaints website has this telephone
number listed as a SPOOFED number.  This could be a possible scam.

Received 2 calls around 7pm on 9/9/13.  Only information on caller ID was the phone number: 507-540-0416.  Message on answering machine was something about helping kids with cancer.

Always getting stupid calls. the do not call registry is a joke.

i keep getting these calls from 1-507-540-0416

I got a call from this number tonight at 7:20 PM.  I think it is a sad thing to get this call and see all these postings as my support group has recently received a big donation which was posted on a facebook page.  I am just wondering if these are face book and internet searchers that look for people that they find out that recently received money.  That is very sad.

When you call it back you get a message they are busy now.

Caller ID shows: Cancer Dream Ne (possibly Network?).  They call EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.  No messages left. No response if you pick up.  

If they are trying to do some good for cancer research, this isn't the way to do it.

Shows up as just a period. just . No answer either.

Caller ID is Cancer Dream NE- they call 3-4 times a day for weeks.  Nothing stops them, not even today's air horn.  :-)

Same...multiple calls and no one on other end...no identification

When I answer no one is there, when I don't answer no message is left.
