Make sure to go to your bank and put stop payments from them on your acct!!! They will try and get the money out of you account anyways...the other thing you can do is maybe google the company and find out where you can file a BBB claim against them...good luck. They call me every other month or so threatening to sue me and leave "personal" info like my SSN on a generic voicemail (they dont even have the right ssn for me!) and threaten to take me to jail...i just ignore them. Good luck...hopefully you can get your money back.

Call your bank and file a dispute.  A claim will be filed and they will return the money to your account until it all gets cleared up.

Received call from Mark White on my cell phone asking did I know a co-worker that is actually no longer with the company. He indicated she had used me for a reference and he needed her to call him. The call shows it came from 510-722-6023, but he gave the 209-642-4409 callback number. He said it was regarding a legal case and he needed her to call back as soon as possible. He has an indian accent and ended call with Have a Blessed Day.

Today this people called my son on a so called payday loan.  How do they get your private information.  This upsets me.  Tell me what did you do

What I don't understand is why no one is doing anything about this!  How can they be allowed to continue doing this.  The SAME man called me today this time I didn't understand the name he gave.  But it's the same voice, same accent.  Last time he said his name was Kevin Johnson.  Today it was a whole different name.  He gives me the creeps everytime I hear his voicemail message.

I keep getting a call from this #+5107226023 multiple times a day. I always ignore him! Same guys every time, but uses different names some times, kevin "somethen", and "somethen" smith. Says he's with ocs, and my bank of america account has fraudulent charges or something like that. And then says that if I don't call back in four min the police will show up and the matter will be in there hands. And then say God be with you, like I'm suppose to be scared! Some stupid indian guy just trying to scam people!

I got a call from these people saying their firm represents some company called Advance Cash and that there are several federal charges being filed against me by this company and they are about to bring those charges to court unless I am willing to settle for $598.00. They read back to me my personal information including bank account number, social security number, driver's license number, and address, which they must have obtained from some data base of other loan companies I have dealt with in the past. I suspected this was a scam and asked them to send me documentation which they refused to do and eventually gave up on trying to threaten me on the call. When I called them back, they told me the name and address of the firm is Affidavit Consolidation Service 8388 Lanark Stockton, CA  95210. There are many people receiving calls from this so-called company. They are a fraud!

I have been recieving calls and threating messages for over a year. last year it was mike anderson and some indian gal named (get this) elvis presley. lmao. this year it's the same guy but his name is adam andrews. i finally answered the phone yesterday to try and get them to stop. after arguing for 20 mins they hung up on me. Guess what. they started calling all over again this morning. good grief, they dont seem to get it. I AINT PAYIN! it deos bother me though that they have my personal info. i think i need to go to my bank today.

I have reported these people to the FTC, BBB, and FBI. You want to know what these government agencies who are supposedly there to protect you have done for me? NOTHING. Good luck reporting these people. They are not physically in the United States, and therefore there is nothing anyone can do for you. That is why they always seem to have different phone numbers. You report them and they still call. Usually from a different number with a different made-up company name and a different "person" calling you. Everytime they call, I call my local FBI department and report the new number and name.
If you call them on their bull they just curse at you and then call you back in a few weeks. I just tell them to contact my attorney or to file the lawsuit and wait to see how long it takes them to call me back. Worst part is my sister gets the calls too. At one point they told her I had stolen her identity and charged thousands of dollars in her name. Not cool.

They called me too, same story , when i denied it they said their company was going to fu@# me. I called the Attorney Generals office and they are looking into it. I suffest everyone do the same in order to get this company stopped. Its kinda scary that they have so much personal information.

I, along with 2 people I use as references, have been receiving phone calls every half hour. When I call them back they only demand credit card numbers. They did send me a written form trying to list amount, etc. with typos, and it looks really fake. Going to report them to Federal Trade and BBB. If you know of any other way to stop they're calls please help!!!

They told me a former employee was in legal trouble and I must call them back immediately. I have not and will not. Simple common sense will get you through any low class, idiotic scam like this one. Use your Caller ID to save the number and give these do***e bags a name you wont answer the next time the ID comes up answer and immediately hang up. Without even putting the phone to your ear. This drives them nuts but you never have to listen to another voice mail again.

I received a call from Texas which I didn't answer but they left me a voicemail saying there's charges against me for check fraud and that there's legal charges against me. He said I need to get a lawyer and said if I don't call him by 4:30 he has Jo choice but to have me served. Before hanging up he said "good luck" ...lol...collectors have really improved their game plan! Obviously they try to scare you into calling them but it doesn't work on me. I have no money or job I never committed "check fraud". They shouldn't allow these people to try and scare anyone into calling them...they don't know the emotional situation someone might be in.

I also keep getting phone calls from this guy saying that I owe money on a payday loan. He calls daily.

they keep calling me saying they represent a loan company called cash advance that i supposedly borrowed money from back in dec. 2009 and now they're saying that company is suing me for over $200.they say i can settle out of court,but when i called the number of cash advance to speak to somebody about the money i supposedly owe,nobody answers because it is not a real business.i am getting really tired and angry of getting phone calls from these people,this is harassment and should be against the law!

These people have called me numerous times claiming I have taken a payday loan (which I never have) out and never paid back and trying to get me to verify my bank account number and social security number. They claim that I am in serious trouble and charges will be brought to court tomorrow (scare tactic) They have called over 10 times and each time I tell them the information is incorrect, they get frustrated and hang up. I and my attorney have done extensive research and concluded that they are buying and searching for information and trying to have you verify so that they may use your information to benefit them. DO NOT PAY THEM AND DO NOT VERIFY YOUR INFORMATION!!!!!

I have gotten two calls today from this number saying that money is owed and when I call back asking who they are I get no response. I ask to speak to someone who I can understand and they will no cooperate. This is a total scam and I would like to get it stopped.

I have gotten several calls from this number of which all I ignored. The "person" decided to leave a voice mail one time saying that I owe money and I am currently being sued. He claimed my name was so n so and even said the last 4 digits of (supposedly) my SSN. Looks like a scam...I hope they can stop because its getting annoying =(

Several messages from an indian man who I can hardly understand except for my own name. Claims his name is "Alan Anderson", yeah right. Neverf indentifies a company name, and when I call back asking to speak to someone who actually speaks english, they hang up, then call right back and leave another message threatening me that I must call back today or "I can only wish you good luck as tghis legal issue unfolds on you".

We've been getting calls from this guy for awhile now. Last one was this morning. He says it's a legal issue and wants to bring my husband to court. I told him that that's fine and go ahead and bring my husband to court, but bring my husband to OUR local county/state court. I laughed, cussed him out, told him that I'm not as stupid as he thinks I am and aware that what he's doing is a scam. I told him to go ahead and bring my husband to court, but MY county court. We'll see how legit he is NOW. I told him F*** YOU! F*** YOU AND YOUR STUPID FAKE COMPANY! and hung up. And this was there was many times I threatened HIM to bring my husband to court. And up to this day, he hasn't. He's a scammer! I expect more phone calls, but that's okay, it's amusing.

Someone from India keeps calling me constantly and threatens legal suits saying zI am in big trouble. Since I know I don't have any outsatnding bills I knew this was untrue but they have my personal info including my sisters phone number so I can only assume they got it from some company I dealt with in the past which really ticks me off. Either this past compnay sold them my info or they have been infiltrated and did not notify me. One day the say they are a legal firm, the next day they say they are a loan company! They keep chaing ing their story but it's always the same guy claiming to be William Henry! He is not William Henry calling me from India! I use to live in Oakland and know the area code is from there.
