I received  a call from 510-943-6257 claiming I needed to call right away because my social security number was in danger of being stolen. They made it sound like if I didnt respond it must mean I didnt care if my identity was stolen. Has anyone else dealt with this? I could barely understand the man who left the message.

got a call saying in deep middle east acsent he was officer scott jackson from the us embasy we googled the area code its from freemont ca. they asked for a debra becker and said that if we didnt respond back there would be problems at home and work.

The law firm I work for received a call from 813.448.2037 The caller had a heavy middle eastern accent saying he was officer Steven Richards from something which sounded to our receptionist like United Nations Crime...  he was very rude and called back 4 times and each time was ruder than the time before that.  He even asked the receptionist if she wanted to get arrested and kept asking to talk to various people (manager, lawyer, etc.) since the person whom he was trying to call was not available.  He finally left a voice message making more threats about being arrested, in trouble, etc. he also made reference to this persons SSN and told her to have her attorneys call him back.  He left a call back number of 510.943.6257.

Has anyone tried calling the 510.943.6257 number back?  If so, what did you find out?

got a call from same number and same "fake" scott Jackson. We have reported this to the FBI as this happened to me last summer from another number and it is a scam. Dont give these crooks any money as that is what they are trying to do is steal your money.

got a call from a man with a middle eastern accent.  Said he was Robert Freeman with the United Federal Bank.  He said that either I or my retained attorney needed to call right away regarding a time sensitive legal matter.  If there was no return call, he said "he would be forced.....(didn't finish sentence.  He then "wished me luck" if I didn't return the call.

This call came in at 10:16 A.M. CST.  Call back number 510-943-6257.

I was just scammed last night from a number in Glendale, CA.

I have gotten 4 phone calls at my job with a man stating is name is Jason Williams giving me my ss# and checking account saying I owed a large amount of money and said if I did not pay in 30 minutes that I would be put in jail.  The first time he stated he was from United Nation Crimes and the other times United Federal Bank.  He stated bad intentions on my part would come if I did not call him back.  These people need to be stopped.
