Got several calls from this number 513-451-2518 and only after I cancelled the Mansfield News Journal due to the delivery person's inability to place the newspaper where a senior citizen can get to it.

I have been getting calls from this number every day for the last 10 or so days. They never say anything. Very annoying!!

This number has called my house everyday since my Australian Shepard Puppy ad ran out of the newspaper. This very very annoying!!!! Does anyone know how to make it stop???

These jackwagons have been calling me at least 10 times a week since I canceled my Chillicothe Gazette subscription. I'm on the Nat'l Do Not Call Registry. Pretty pissed at the harassment. How in the world do they think that will work? "Oh let's just annoy them till they give in and resubscribe!" Not a chance, buddy!

i cancelled my subscription to the newark advocate and have at least one missed call per day from this number.  luckily, i gave my work number so they aren't disturbing me at home.  they always call late at night.  how can i get these calls to stop?  even though they are calling my desk phone, it's still annoying!

I am having the same problem as most of you, I cancelled my 15+ yrs subscription to the Newark Advocate because their carriers did not know how to place the paper in the Advocate mailbox that the Advocate gave me to use!!!!  So now I find the 5134512518 number on my caller ID with at least 3 calls per day!  STUPID PEOPLE - STUPID RESULTS!!!!

well i USE to get calls from that 513 number but i went to my state's attorney general website and filled a complaint. the results....they are not allowed to call anymore!!! but first be sure and registar at the do not call me website.

I cancelled my Lancaster Eagle Gazette paper!!! I'm gonna call the Gazette and tell them also that if these calls don't stop I may see about filing suit against them as well!!!!!

Just received a call from this number. No one on the other end. Interesting reading other posts b/c this one is also from NN Central Ohio and we cancelled our subscription a few months ago.

just had this number call me at 7:30pm on a sunday night.

I do not have a newspaper subscription. I have NEVER had one.
And if this who everyone is saying it is, then we have us a clear
violation of the FTC'd do not call law.

maybe I should pursue and press charges.

I just got another call from this number and finally talked to someone. It's from the Bucyrus Telegraph Forum.

I got a call from this number and answered it.  The lady I spoke to sold me a Sunday-only subscription to the Newark Advocate.  It has been one week since then and it is now Sunday, and I did not get a newspaper today.  Was this a scam or does it just take longer than a week for a newspaper subscription to start up?

they call several times a day even weekends. rings a couple times then stops. they do not leave msgs. very annoying & want it to stop!!!!!  don't even know who they are

Thank you! The NN = Newspaper Network explained it. In our case it's the Marion Star that was cancelled. Sometimes we get calls from New Jersey trying to get us to renew but this number was a new one.

Receive numerous calls all day long.  When you answer there is no one on the other end.  Very anoying!

never got the calls until we cancelled our subscription with the Mansfield News Journal.

Did not start receiving these calls until I cancelled my subscription with the Lancaster Eagle Gazette, which is part of the Newspaper Network (NN) of Central Ohio.  I've never bothered to answer because I didn't want to hear the sales pitch to come back.

The call was from a telemarketer selling subscriptions to the Mansfield NewsJournal

I said 'Hello' three times.
No one said anything.
So I hung up.

I receive about 10 calls from this number each day including Sunday.  They will not remove me from their records; however, since I am a law enforcement officer, I am to the point that I think it is time to file a harrassment charge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
