Claiming they're from the American Medical Association and want to update their physician registry. Sounds like a load of something smelly to me...the AMA is located in Chicago and these calls originate from Iowa.

THEY CALLED MY HUSBAND IF HE OWNS TRUCK, THEY SAID THEY WERE FR: THE DOT OFFICE, THEY HANGED UP, IVE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES NO ANSWER, I EVEN CALLRD THE REAL D.O.T. THEYVE NEVER HAD THIS NUMBER.

WS Live LLC is contracted to many firms.
Firms such as JJ Keller hire them to call and offer their products at a reduced price, its not a scam. You can call JJ Keller's 800 number (on their website) and ask them if WS Live LLC is one of the sites they hire to call for them.
They call for many firms including:
Selling manuals, posters and computer programs for JJ Keller.
Other firms not mentioned here.
Customer Service calls are taken on an in-bound basis for another firm.
Surveys are done for Banks and a few different Stores.
They do not leave phone numbers or messages since they are on "out-bound" lines and can not receive in-coming phone calls. They make calls not answer them (except for the customer service line for one of the firms).
This is the way it is for the majority of telemarketing companies:
The person who calls you is calling from an office that is hired to call by the manufactures or publishing companies (like JJ Keller) and are given your number. They have your name, address and phone numbers and are assigned to offer certain promotions.
If you are concerned about who is calling the best way to find out is to answer your phone and and politely ask them. Most of the time it is a regular person, doing their best to earn an honest living.

Received a call from this number at 11:04am on Monday, January 23, 2012. Picked up, said "Hello?" and the call disconnected. They've called before but left no messages. This is ANNOYING.
If they call one more time, I'll file a complaint with the FTC.

Got a call from this number today at 5:30pm, when I answered it no one was there. when I called the number back to see who the heck was calling me I got an answering machine. all the vocie said was, "Leave a numbr" and so I just hung up.
After reading everyone's comments it looks like it's just some company trying to scam some money out of business with OSHA reports or what not from Human resorces. I've heard about these companies that try to sell you posters with federal regulations on them for your company bullitin board. They lie and say if you don't put them up you will be fined hundreds and hundreds of dollars.
Just don't answer it IMO.

Who's ever number this is, I am going to try to block it (JUST DID) and never pick up the phone from this number. Calling me at 7:15am no matter what day is not exceptable !!! And when I call back NO ANSWER !!! It happened already 5 times at different times of the day as early as 7:15am and 7:30am !!! Since no one is responding, its not that important to waste my time !!! I went on whitepages.com, it saying that this # is a landline located in Urbandale, IA. Than if you pay more $$$ You can find out the name of the person. Not going to waste my time or $$$. Just ignore it !!!

This number just called my office and asked for our companies OWNER so I informed them he is retired. The lady then stated that she needed to speak with someone who could deal with issues from OSHA. Hummm....so I stated that I could have someone else return their call and they NO...they would call another time! Sounds way too fishy! Big time scam if you ask me!
