Got a call from this number but I was on my motorcycle. Called them back twice as soon as I could (I just put out a lot of applications, thought maybe I had a job offer) Got the busy signal, got home, typed in google, then the number, this site came up.

Kudos to the person who kept them on the phone for 30 minutes.

Ohio cell - same number - didn't answer. Next time I'll answer with an air horn. Yes it's dangerous and it's mean. But maybe they'll get the damn point.

Have gotten two calls on business cell from these scammers, looking to "lower my interest rate." When I ask them to identify their company, they hang up.  Reported to FCC, but complaint no good because it is a business phone.  I thought it was illegal to telemarket to any wireless device.  You'd think the FCC would want to shut down obvious scammers regardless of the type of cell phone they spam before they drain some little old lady's bank account.
I don't think so.

I think you are way off. Unless some "retarted" kid figured out how to set up an automated system that asks you to pres numbers and reach DIFFERENT people that say the same things. Unless you are involved, and trying to deflect attention from this clearly illegal operation.

TO "Hey I Figured it Out"

NO YOU DIDN'T!! You are dead wrong, and most likely involved with the scammers trying to take the heat off of them. Kids don't use automated systems to steal credit card #'s, and you're an idiot to think anyone here would take you seriously. This # calling you IS TRYING TO STEAL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION PEOPLE!!!! Thank God for sites like this and people concerned enough with others' well being that we take the time to post here. Kudos to the person reporting the # too. Lets nail em to the wall!

"Hey I figured it Out" is also a scammer....Look at that awful grammer and lack of punctuation; it's post reads like a 3th grader texting their friends in the lunchroom. The post before is also most likely the same person. No punctuation or capitalization in either post AT ALL, and a condesending tone in general to both posts. (Sorry you dont know what the means "Hey I figured it Out")

I've been getting calls from this number, or least similar ones over the past 6 weeks.  Usually I don't answer or hang up as soon as I hear the automated service.  Twice I spoke with a representative, and politely asked to be taken off their call list, and was immediately hung up on.  Today I actually played along and said that last time I started the process and was disconnected.  I asked to speak with a manager, and suprisingly they actually transferred me.  I asked whoever picked up the line what the name of the company was and she replied "account services".  I said that was a pretty generic name, and aksed their website.  She said they had a website, but it was for consumers only.  I said, "well how do I know if I want to be a consumer, if I can't get any info about your company?"  I then asked for a phone number because on a previous call had been disconnected but when I tried calling back the number wouldn't work.  She told me that we were not going to be disconnected and so I didn't need a call back number.  I then asked what town their company was located in - again she refused.  I asked to speak with another manager - and again, suprisinly they tranfered my call.  The next woman answered, "Ma'am, What can I do for you?", and responded that I just wanted some more info about their company before I gave them my personal credit info.  She responded, well we're not going to give it to you, so you can either go back on hold indefinitely, or hang up.  I hung up

I answered the call with, "Hello" after a ten second pause, so it's voice activated. The voice advertised lower interest rates on my CC, so I instantly knew it was either a phishing scam or telemarketing both equaling scam type behavior. I didn't press one and after a few seconds, it hung up on me. This is very interesting because my number is brand spanking new as I signed up for service 3 days ago and 3 people I know have the number. Perhaps they got my new number from a list of newly activated numbers. However, phone companies do recycle numbers, so it may just be coincidence and they actually use a war dialing program on a computer.

I received a call in the post office while discussing a recent ID Fraud problem and was really surprised to find I "have such good payment record on my Tiffany"s credit card I can get a lower interest rate. " When I said I have no such card the "representative named Melissa" said excuse me for a minute--and never returned.
Actually, I'm relieved that it may just be a scam and not tied to our real ID Fraud problem we are currently dealing with!

I also received a call from this number: 520-360-2753. They didn't leave a message so I decided to look of the number online and ended up here. It just amazed me how now these people are so daring and now start calling people's cell phones. In the past they only called home numbers.... I just wish that there was a law against these types of calls.
