These calls and complaints are so ridiculously frequent I am starting to recognize you guys based on your posts. It is like our own little forum.
Filed 163 complaints so far for a total of $2,736,000 in fines if the FCC wants some money :P Been getting calls for over 3 years.
HERE IS THE PROBLEM TO SOLVE. Type your own phone number in to Google and see that there are web sites that offer lists of cell phone numbers in large list for anyone to use. How do I remove my number from this list?
There is no way I can see to contact the web sites for removing my number!!
Here is a list of web sites my number is on.
And five others that look like there in India.
How do I get my number off this list?
I love this one.
I keep getting these calls from 540-625-8740. Well, I only have a cell phone and this is what I have done.
On the Cell Phone,
Go to "Setting & Tools.
Select: #8 Phone Settings
Select: #8 Security
Enter: 4 Digit Code (this will be the last 4 numbers of you phone number) (unless you have changed your pin or code)
Select: #2 Restrictions
Enter: 4 Digit Code
Select: #2 Calls
Select: #1 Incoming Calls
Select: Contacts Only
Now only people you have in your contact list will make your cell phone ring.
When you check for missed calls,
4. Blocked Select this one, put in the 4 digit Code and you can see who has been Trying to call and how many time and when they have tried. Also if you are talking on the phone and they try calling, the phone will beep like a call is coming in but the screen will not light up. So just ignore it. ALL CELL PHONES HAVE THIS FEATURE. Just go find it or look for it. I really enjoy giving out my cell number now. I tell people that "If you are not in my "contact list", you CAN NOT make my phone ring. If they want to pay my phone bill then they can decide how my phone it set up. My phone is for my use only. I expect to answer a call and know the person I am talking with. Problem solved. Make life simple.
stop calling me all the damn time. 828-400-6557
Marco polo...great jokes! I love racist jokes :) I wish theses cumdumpsters would eat a bag of dicks and die. I hate the daily calls.
I just say:
- did you get fired from mcdonalds?
- how fat are you, really?
- did you graduate hs?
- yo momma so fat "insert joke"
- too ugly to do anything else
for white men - "so, I hear you have a small p***s"
for black men - "how many times you been arrested"?
for white women - "what venereal diseases have you contracted"?
for black women "why do you think black men prefer white women? I wouldn't f**k a n*gg*r either"
Calls several times a week. Annoying!!!!
how does what work?
How's that work?
Get several calls from lower your interest rate calls, these actually make my day, I have a CC# that works for them, I give them Visa toll free #, they put me on hold several times to call and get my balance and last payment...I give them the okay to charge their fee, which is 999.00....they are so excited when they hang up.....then in a couple days when they figure out they are not getting there 999.00 they call me back and call me the scammer.....now thats classic.
STOP CALLING MY NUMBER NOW... REPORT TO THE FBI HARASSMENT DEPT FRAUD OVER STATE LINES.
Got the call yesterday and just now had time to look it up. You would think that when the number is never answered they would quit. I was going to report them to the DNC list but found out that you have to leave the number your reporting, PLUS your number and it becomes a matter of public record where telemarketers can get a copy of.
This phone number constantly calls me.
Card holder services. Again. I still don't even have a credit card.
Jeff of Pa
Just got another one , this time from King George VA,
I didn't answer this one either.
Robo dialer, with male voice about AmEx Card Services, and lowering your interest rate.
What you need to do is Call the Phone Company and provide the Phone # that dialed you and the date/time of day. That Phone company Can determine the Real Phone Number that called you vs. what is spoofed to us. They can do this they will not admit is. you have to Ask for the Fraud dept. or their Security Dept.
The Phone Companies NEED To be held accountable
my response every time-please take a gun into work, kill everybody else, then kill yourself.
Ohh, I'll help kill them!
Just another number to add to my ignore list. I hate theses cumdumpsters, the need to suck a bag of dicks and die.
You have the right idea, in making the statement and carrying it out. Granted it won't be easy to locate these wos, but there are people who do know who and where these pos are located so it is only a matter of time.
I am holding out hope one of their own will see the light and send the rest of them into it.
personally, Here is what I will do. If I ever find one person who is doing this. I will kill them just to rid the world of one low life.
And if the NSA decides to track me down, my defense will be that you can locate honest hard working Americans but you will do nothing about the criminals that constantly harass us.

Just complaining on this web site does little good.
I think card services has cross the line using American Express as the lure to press 1. This is a new level of fraud that damages American Express.
They need to know about it. And how much we all are bothered by this constant attack to our phones and daily lives. American Express has the power to hunt down this Fraud scamming company and expose them to us good hard working people that need to have a phone without this cheating scams in there name calling every day. Many times a day and changing there number each time to really screw with us.
Your phone Carrier will only try to sell you a blocking service. They love this kind of stuff that makes money for them.
So I repeat, Call American Express to solve the problem. New ideas sometimes work!!!
"I think American Express is responsible because they do nothing about this fraud when I call them to complain."
That is one of the most absurd suggestions I've read on this website.
If Amex is NOT responsible, then just how do you think they are going to stop it?
It's criminals who are calling you. Amex has no control over them. They may not even be located inside the USA.
Your demand is not well thought out to say the least.
You may even work for these spammers because you are demanding that people harass a legitimate company (Amex).

Here is a new idea to stop this company from calling anymore. The recording said it is American Express. press 1. It is card service again. I think American Express is responsible because they do nothing about this fraud when I call them to complain. We ALL need to complain on every call EVERY DAY. So everyone call customer service 1800-528-4800. keep hitting zero until you reach someone. tell them how much this bothers you. Don't take "no we can't do anything" as an answer. This will work. we must all stand together and fight. I was called four times today. I'm fed up.
Why Don't They Just Die?
New Number / Same Crap.
AmEx card services. I answered this one and spent about 20 minutes giving her bogus information then said I had to go get my wallet and left her on speaker. Another 15 minutes of "Hello? Hello?" She finally hung up and immediately called back from a different area code. Imagine that.
Both numbers on the reject list now.
Didn't answer and when I called back, received recording that the number I dialed was not in service.
