Thanks for the above info. I've been getting calls from ANOTHER number 240-920-0671 which claims to be "AMERICAN VETERANS SUPPORT FOUNDATION," a ***SCAM** 'CHARITY' (NOT Legit) that I finally blocked. TRYING to SOUND like the legally registered (but still not very good) Charity: "AMVETS *SERVICE* Foundation." Guess when they figured out that I did that, they changed their number to try and SCAM me another way. Didn't work! Will BLOCK this one, too, and REPORT them to the DNC List.

Received a call from James 540-765-2514 calling for a donation. Very pushy. Would not take no for an answer.
I told him to take my number off his list and that I am on the Do Not Call Registry.

They repeatedly call my home line. I have been on the registry for more than 6 months.

It's a third party solicitor for the website www.supportusvets.org. They are required by law to check the national Do Not Call List before calling you despite their claims to the contrary. Only the registered 501 C 3 charity can directly call your residence for donations. Hiring a 3rd party is allowed but they must follow the federal Do Not Call regulations. The caller is using a cellular line from a carrier called United State Cellular Corporation out of Locust, VA.
