They called me, I've gotten 20 calls in the past 2 days from different numbers asking for Christopher Carter... I've told them no and they hang up, then another number calls 10 mins later. So now I've been answering "911 what's your emergency?" A few of them told me that they would take me off the calling list. And the others just hang up. So that's what I'm doing for now on! Works like a charm!

Called (AND texted) my cell phone # (!!??) telling me that I'm pre-approved for the loan from freecashtree.com.
Of course, told them to get lost and never call this # again.

Woman called yesterday.   She said her name was Rachel and I had been pre-approved to borrow 500 with no strings attached.  I told her I was busy and she said she would call me back sometime.   She told me the name of company but I do not remember.

ID says "Woodlake, CA"

Mis-read caller ID for a second and actually answered. It came on as a recording, "Hi my name is Brandy and I'm with something-something dot com. Can you hear me OK?"

I hung up right after that. Off to the Junk callers list.

I get these calls 7.01 am,to 9pm  like on a automatic. this is a scam artist.. do not respond the group has several numbers around the country just wanting info from anyone..

The heath care enrollment center. I called it back and it connects to them.

They claimed I had recently shown some kind of interest in purchasing health insurance. They wanted to sell me insurance. I have employer sponsored insurance.
I never do business with people who cold call me out of the blue.
At least they said they will remove my number from their list.

I s'pose I will find out cause I am not blocking their number....yet.

The telephone 'caller ID' system has a defect that allows someone to disable caller ID on their own phone line and install an ultrasonic modem that will let the caller display any number on your phone they want to display. This will also work with some Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services (web phones). Congress is full of incompetent a$$holes that want to fight about health care so much that they refuse to take the time to pass a law that requires phone companies to stop the criminals that are spoofing phone numbers. This is so common that it has a name. It is called 'phone phreaking' and it's been going on since the 1990s.

The same exact thing just happened to me. When I answered, there was no one there. VERY suspicious.

If you get a call from this number, it's a scam. I've been called by plenty of these types of numbers. The number that is showing on the caller ID is not the actual number. It is spoofed by the dialer they are using.

The different types I have gotten were to "Lower my credit card bills," "confirmation of approval for dental insurance" (which I have through work), and the same as the previous posts show for Health Insurance.

They do not abide by the DNC Laws, but the FCC and FTC are aware of the issue and are trying to find ways to track these people down.

Didn't know this number when they were calling me, so I let it ring through to voicemail. I then called back with my Google voice number, and reached a recorded message that said it was "Affordable Health Insurance". Telemarketer, so don't bother answering.

Called back and it's a sales call for affordable health care. Strange how they seem to get people's info when it was never solicited.

559-532-0175  cld and left no msg.  Have no idea who this is.  Do not know anyone in the Fresno, CA area.  Also when I called it back, immediately got a recording that simply siad 'Goodbye' and it hung up.   How very strange.

Anyone else get a strange call from this Unknown #?    There isn't even anything on the Internet about this # anywhwere.  Not even a Co. name or callers complaining about it or anything.  But yet, the strange recording when you call it back.   hmmmm.
